I was exploring my old gaming laptop today, I haven't seriously used it since 2019 as I just threw Folding@home on it and left it on my shelf for nearly 7 years. Lots of old de-synced projects that I'm backing up. Its still a rather capable laptop, not sure what I'm going to do with it tho.

I guess I'm just fully onboard with Linux now. Like in the past month I've booted into windows once. That was just to play minecraft with my friends... then the bedrock launcher updated like a day later. I like Vintage story more anyways, and it runs on Linux.

doing hackerman stuff... wrote a bash script that uses nmap to scan my network to find my phone. it then uses the IP to connect it to an adb (Android Debug Bridge) server then run scrcpy to mirror the screen so I can control it remotely. I was jealous of of my mac having friends this feature.

This used to be my exact setup until I got a dedicated desktop. Even got the same wasd keyboard wear. I replaced my headphone muffs with cloth mesh ones, love my sony mdr but fake leather is the worst invention ever. 8/10

Little kiosk thing at work keeps falsely accusing people of stealing stuff. I started circumventing it by standing just outside of the camera's viewing angle. I noticed a while after I started doing that, it's started switching to a wide mode. Someone somewhere is upset.

Ideally this drive would be ext4 but its the former games and cloud storage drive for windows. I've learned the hard way to keep my valuables away from the OS drive.

I switch it up every once in a while. Firefox had some major performance issues back in 2009 which made me look for alternatives then I got locked into chrome's ecosystem... for like 16 years.

I had a day. locked my keys in my car, messed up my fingers trying to get them out, stepped in gum, skipped my break because I spent nearly an hour unsuccessfully trying to get them, then somebody rammed me in the drive through (no damage) but still. A whole cartoon plot happened, I'm staying home.

I'm pretty sure that its intentional and not poisoning. I mean why would they poison pre-existing audio and not the animation they made? That and I heard it from multiple videos from animators that should really know what they're doing. idk how to search this, just thinks I'm talking about remixes.

started noticing that some videos have like multiple tracks of music playing at like a really low volume behind the main music track. I mostly see it in animation memes and short form videos. I assume it might be some kind of algorithm manipulation a copyright counter measure. I hear it though...
