I played a bit of the released Patlabor PS1 game on the weekend and I think its gameplay does a really good job at reflecting how labor fights go honestly. Just kinda try to grab them and knock them to the ground.

Was playing a bit of the unreleased PSX Patlabor game and noticed that they had a trailer for WXIII on it, this shot in particular is quite a bit different, the road labor is blue and white for one, and there's a lot of added details in the foreground. Interesting.

wow this map is huge, in the campaign you're just confined to a little parking lot and there's smoke everywhere so you can't see anything. I hope this game gets more content that takes advantage of these really very huge maps

They actually changed the animation of the spinner in this scene compared to the preview, in the preview it looked like it was actually riding on the rails, but in the final episode it was made more clear it was just driving along the same path.

I've finished #Patlabor The Case Files The actual gameplay of fighting labors is pretty fun once you get a controller that works, but outside of that its less a game and more a selection of fights from the series with some narration attempting to link things together.

The story in this game is very much just a bare bones excuse for the fights, if you haven't watched the show it would be quite hard to follow lol. Otakesan gets introduced by being shot off screen. Also the translation is pretty bad.

played a bonus mission where you had to avoid searchlights and blow up kaldeia drones. They zapped you, that's neat. I feel the fact that they zap you is something that can be missed in the movie since it happens once
