Next up! There was a time that if you wanted a Mossie in 1/144 you were stuck with the old Aeroclub "kit". However now Mark 1 have produced a range of them with some lovely detail given the size of the model. My first Mark 1 kit this one, let's see how it goes! #Mark1Mosquito

Next up! Surely everyone loves a Phantom. The extensive Hasegawa F-4 series is a bit older and more basic than the more recent Tamiya and ZM offerings, but still holds it's own very well. I have all the usual extras to make this one sing. #HasegawaF4N

In the interests of movie authenticity, have had to remove the frame reflector mounts. Would be an easy job in plastic, but of course these are metal and that was quite a job! #TamiyaFatBoy

Having stripped all the ridiculous toy-like chrome sprues, it now means a long process of re-applying something a bit more realistic to each detached part and sub-assembly. Thats the chrome bits done, next the dull metal bits. Hopefully can start building soon! #TamiyaFatBoy
