My Tesla Powerwalls just joined a Virtual Power Plant event! Today my home exported about 8 kW /h back to the grid alongside 12,000+ Bay Area homes, delivering a combined 65 MW to help support the grid during peak demand. It’s amazing to see home batteries doing more than just backup power. ⚡🏡

Today the kids got to see the history behind the devices they spend all day staring at. 📱➡️☎️ At the Alexander Graham Bell Museum in Baddeck, they got hands on with telephones that existed long before smartphones, FaceTime, or texting. We also learned Bell helped with Canada’s first airplane. 🇨🇦✈️
