I don’t social media much anymore, but it’s the golden hour in Vancouver, and I hope everyone is as ok as possible.

I’d try to avoid that, and look for inspiration in the real world. It has worked pretty well for generations of artists, writers and musicians!

As an academic I would add Gen AI also erodes critical thinking skills at a time when they are more needed than ever

"Go with grace into the great beyond..." We at Red Hook are heartbroken to confirm the passing of our beloved voice actor, Wayne June.

An image of the faces of The Ancestor from Darkest Dungeon, and The Academic from Darkest Dungeon II. A torch glows between their two faces. The images reads: "Ancestor, Academic, Artist & friend. Wayne June. Twelve years ago, Tyler and I reached out to Wayne, humbly asking him to narrate our indie game’s trailer. Since those magical moments when we first paired his reading with the footage, it has been an incredible and fulfilling collaboration. Wayne’s singular baritone and masterful cadence elevated everything he read. He was a consummate professional, and his love of his craft was an inspiration. His inimitable work is woven into the very fabric of our industry in a way that cannot be forgotten.

It is one of my life’s greatest honors to have written for him this past decade. Though I never got to shake his hand, I knew him to be a friend.

Thank you, Wayne.

-Chris Bourassa, for Tyler Sigman and the Red Hook team"

Darkest Dungeon was released 9 years ago today! We’re curious - when did you first discover Darkest Dungeon - did you play during early access, or have you recently picked up the game? Let us know in the comments. #darkestdungeon

Saw this compilation on YouTube and …well… I’m really proud of the writing I did for DDII! It’s awesome to see it all presented here like an audio book! Of course, Wayne June’s performance is stellar as always, and thanks to @bimbo.phd for being a fantastic editor! youtu.be/PjUSudpYLRQ?...

Debating Armored Core…love me some mechs, but…*swirls scotch*…but the shapes and proportions aren’t totally doing it for me. I think I want something a little chunkier? Maybe with more personality? I’m musing here. I’ll end up buying it in like an hr
