In my hubris I destroyed a freshly made kimono top, I made a draft piece out of muslin and put it in the wash to get rid of the chalk marks and forgot a dedicates bag. It's still together enough that I can use it for the draft but I'm upset, I worked hard on it! Gone with the tears...

I've been playing Control Resonant and I think that shows in this piece. I did put myself through a lot of pain working on this one with all the perspective though!

Artist! Quote with the artwork you cannot explain! #arttrain Honestly I just have yet to know what I was going for with this one, I just like it.

Sometimes I put out a piece and then I sit down to eat and I glance at it and see a dozen little things I wanted to be different but forgot. Don't forget to eat while your doing art! Anyway here's the changes, mostly some gradients and line work layering stuff.

I have been so tired of drawing The Interior of Boat™ that I just need to get a pallet cleanser, so enjoy another one of my big environmental pieces! I've been enjoying using the imagery of smoking sadly, feels like a deep sense of ennui.

I'm still a little to sick to focus fully on drawing but that's ok, I have a project I've been meaning to start for ages! I've wanted to try spinning my own yarn for years and finally got the stuff for it, carded some local Soay wool I bought and managed something! I'm learning this skill still!

Polishes nicely too, now if only Tal´dana was better at communicating. I'm just excited to get to a scene I love. Hey remember to read my #comic at www.boundserpent.com for free, and have a good day.

Another follow up to an earlier piece. I've honestly been meaning to use this site more but I just don't enjoy social media, it gets really exhausting really fast and all I want to do is keep drawingggggg.

Another illustration, called this one "I hope I didn't taste like smoke." My friend pointed out my pink haired girl has trans flag colours for her hair and bandana (and some yellow added in) and I love that.

I loved drawing this one, hated painting it, but I lost my original reference for it! It's a sad world. But it doesn't matter- I'm proud of this piece!

When I saw this drawing ages back I absolutely had to draw some characters from my DND game in the same scenario- it reminds me so much of being a kid playing in my moms garden with a neighbor kid, even if she didn't want to garden there.

So I grew up watching Code Lyoko and I think those influences are clear through most of my art, but this ones very directly inspired by it. I genuinely can't tell you how excited I am for the new season in the works! Anyways, this is my goober's long term goal- the virtual lighthouse!

Wow I haven't post here much lately! Well one of the reasons is that my computer was out of commission for a bit so I was only working on my little tablet, so I'll just share the comic I've had on the back burner for a while! None of this is final but I'm enjoying a lot of hatching! #art #comic

I'm excited for next week, I'll get to get back into the story proper, but this was a nice little intermission, put the potato baby to bed for the night and get her some rest. If you want to read more of my comic you can find it for free posted a week in advance on my website linked in my bio!

Sushi kitty🏳️‍🌈 @bound-serpent.bsky.social · 18/06/2026

One page left of my intermission! I've already got it drawn up and flats layed down but I've been working on the cover page for Gate 2 this week! Remember you can see the next page always available on my website at www.boundserpent.com for free!

I've been meaning to be less discerning in my artwork I share online, I like this piece but it could use a lot more work. At the same time I should try to remember to post my work even if it's not perfect, always worth while to share.

Not much left of the intermission, soon I can move onto Gate 2, it's called Inscription if your interested in hearing that in advance! I'm excited! Read Gate 1 at the link in my bio! #comic

Sushi kitty🏳️‍🌈 @bound-serpent.bsky.social · 06/06/2026

Sense I'm nearing the end of the intermission I've been doing a bunch of housekeeping with Binding the Serpent, which includes making an updated cover! The original was always a shot of something I knew I'd want to change but I just never got around to it till now, makes me feel better.

Sushi kitty🏳️‍🌈 @bound-serpent.bsky.social · 05/06/2026

I did another piece of Syla! In the game I play her in rabbits are symbols of the knowledge of ones mortality, and in this case, the people that she lost. I did give each of these bunnies a name, don't judge me. #art

I always liked imagining stories told to me drawn in ink, and for a little while I tried to animated like that when I was little. Telling myths in my comic in that way just fits too well for me not to really. You can catch my #comic Wednesdays at 10pm est a week in advance at the link in my bio!

Sushi kitty🏳️‍🌈 @bound-serpent.bsky.social · 01/06/2026

Hey it's pride month! I've been endlessly told that I should promote myself more so- I'm a gender queer lesbian cartoonist and I love art! I feel really odd posting here without sharing art so I'm going to share a few pieces with my gay DND character! Find a link to my comic in my bio! Happy pride!

I haven't touched this art style in years and I wanted to see if I could still do it. I'm not as used to the shape language and broken lines as I used to be, but I still love work like this!

I love stories within stories, and oral traditions, especially in cultures with written language, it leads to every story having the DNA of every person who has told that story. You can see the linage of stories and how they diverge if you look carefully. Check out my comic at the link in my bio!

This is Insertion 02, I really love drawing these big complex scenes, it may be tedious but I miss it when I'm working on my comic where each page has to be finished within a more reasonable time frame. I love drawing these surreal environments from my DND characters past so much.
