◇ #BottomJayceWinter BASICS ◇ It's saturday, pass the yaoi! Let's talk about the new AO3 archive & what else you can expect from our festivities. 🐰🍧BJW is not a standard week event. Some of our format offerings will be familiar, others will be evolving with time… #jayvik

Playful winter card done in blue and pink. It features cutesy art of humanoid bunny jayce and fox viktor cuddling happily in a bed as snowflakes fall outside their bedroom window. It reads:

The Winter Collection.
*Save your fic & artworks made late for bjweek!*
Maybe you couldn't finish your project in time. Maybe you're just a casual participant… it doesn't matter, we still want to celebrate your work! With constant prohibition of adult content in for-profit sites and apps, this AO3 collection will keep your art safe.

*Archiving entries from other jayvik events!*
Are you planning some top!viktor x bottom!jayce for any upcoming weeks, zines, gift exchanges or challenges? We'd love to have it here. This facilitates browsing of multiple projects at once, so even when one event ends, readers may still find your fic or old collections to follow. Tag #BottomJayceWinter on social media so your entries can be seen by fans, even if they don't follow a particular event!

you can browse full tag archives on Bluesky the search function works there!

*Accepting translations & podfics from older works!*
Proficient in languages other than english? Submit your translation or audio work!

Join us in a party to seal jayvik as the #1 ship of 2025!!

part 2 of the winter card. This one has a much larger drawing on the bottom of bunnyjayce falling back in a lush field of pink roses, his body partially covered by the looming figure of a furry werewolf-esque viktor wearing a loose blanket, reminiscent of beauty & the beast. Jayce is blushing. Viktor's snout is directly in front of his face, canines smiling and tongue out.

text reads:
*Open to longform fics and non-explicit projects*
This event was born out of a desire to see underrepresented jayvik dynamics; especially Viktor as a proud disabled top & Jayce in submissive OR 'typically feminine' roles. But sometimes the sex isn't the focal point, or won't happen right in the first chapter!

This archive is open to slowburns, drabbles, and works with abstracted sex scenes or only passing mentions of sexual activity. Maybe you only wish to portray aftercare or a courtship process — maybe you're focusing on a plotty story first. Different strokes. There is space here for you too.

We hope to highlight top!viktor × bottom!jayce as a disabled4disabled romance that takes many forms. This includes works exploring the gendered societal expectations pushed on Jayce as a man of color & Viktor as a disabled man, fluff, daytime kink, casual mentions of sex or aspec dynamics. (As long as you're fine being in a horny space.)

If you believe your art fits this description, we're waiting to see you here! This collection is for adults only. Do not submit if underage.

🐰💨 love posting for you guys but hate posting on twitter. People out there don't react normally to things and it makes every interaction so dehumanizing (nothing can exist just out of love anymore, now it's an argument point against X or Y) they will create negativity out of thin air

◇ When can I submit my work? When does the collection close? ◇
The collection will be open to submissions MAY 5 - midnight (GMT-3). While the event formally ends by MAY 11, this collection will be working with a grace period for any late joiners before it is permanently closed, last call for all submissions is May 31. Chaptered works are welcome! You just need to get the *first* chapter uploaded to the collection before the deadline is up. Remember to review our FAQ and guidelines for an answer about the most common questions! 🐰💌 archiveofourown.org/collections/... #jayvik #bottomjayceweek

Rules:

◇1◇ Please tag your fic content appropriately:
We highly encourage the use of the Bottom Jayce and Top Viktor tags at the bare minimum, but it'd be great to see tags for any of the major themes/kinks/TW's on your works too. The Old Mage Viktor and Machine Herald tags are highly useful for archiving if you're utilizing a different version of the character. Please note that Machine Herald refers to the league of legends champion pre-arcane; if you're writing Viktor's final form in the TV show, it's best to use Arcane Herald.

◇2◇ There is no minimum wordcount for written submissions.
◇3◇ Works must be focused on Top Viktor x Bottom Jayce.
◇4◇ Entries that don't follow the guidelines will be removed. Them's the breaks.

Afraid? Worried? Scared? Horny? All of these things are getting in the way of you starting out some creative work? Take a step back, have a breather, it's alright. Let's see what we can do about it. Sometimes less is more🐰💌 #jayvik #bottomjayceweek

Event FAQ for bottomjayceweek.
Jayce asks: I'm so overwhelmed! The event is coming up and I don't even know where to start with my project... I don't think I can make it in time, much less do all of the days!

Viktor answers: There's no shame in going slow and simplifying your craft. Comfort + enjoyment should be your top priority. Don't worry about prepping for every single day - if you can only submit one piece, that's already fantastic. other tips are included:
1. Focus on tackling 1 or 2 favorite subjects at a time!
2.To make writing easier, break up your project into smaller chunks/bullet points. Goals help you visualize the whole.
3.Time is going to pass anyway: If you can only write 200 words per day, that's still 6000 words in a month! (one sketch per day also adds up pretty dramatically.)
4.It doesn't have to be the Mona Lisa. Give yourself room to be messy, experimental, and try out new things.

accompanying the text are little cartoony squishy drawings of jayce and viktor, done in bubblegum pink. Jayce is dressed in a bunny suit and contorting himself with worry, sweat drops flying off around his head. Viktor is dressed up as a magician and sitting on a beanie, confidently tapping his magic wand on his hand.
