Earth: The Bio-Artificial Era OC #3: Camila Luciana, Marine Biologist Not a hybrid, but a human BORN in that era who has a brain full of marine life knowledge! I might post all solo images of my OCs from the previous post because Bsky likes making em blurry for some reason, so stay tuned!…

Some more facts:

- She likes cetaceans aswell, not just cephalopods!

- The clipboard and the paper that she is holding on on are stained with a real sample of ink from the Fountain Ink Pen Squid.

“The beginning of the Bio-Artificial Era…” Just a little art piece that depicts what caused the “Bio-Artificial Era” to happen. Which made humanity think that their time was officially over… which wasn’t, but a new HARSH beginning.

Chemical Warfare which used an unknown substance was the result of the new era to transform animals into Bio-Artificially living organisms with features based on things made by humans… or by being mixed with other things-

Night of the Zoopocalypse: Unofficial Art! Fanmade Gumbeasts! Gumbeast Octopus! (3/?) (My personal favorite in my opinion!-) Obviously, Please do NOT think this is official because… well… it isn’t. It’s inspired by the movies official concept art!

Screeching, attacking or alerting other Gumbeasts

They can fly like helicopters if needed, but only for short distances.

Night of the Zoopocalypse: Unofficial Art! Fanmade Gumbeasts! Gumbeast Shark! (2/?) Obviously, Please do NOT think this is official because… well… it isn’t. It’s inspired by the movies official concept art!

Leaping out of the water
(Can somewhat move on land, but it struggles to)

Struggled a bit too much or it was fought against… it will take time for it to reassemble itself again.

Earth: The Bio-Artificial Era OC #2 : Crimson The Fountain Ink Pen Squid! 🦑 🖋️ Location of Discovery: (same area) Near the Gulf shores of the Pacific Ocean Combination: Humboldt Squid (main)+ Fountain Ink pen (appearance) + Human (Intelligence) This time, this specimen is a FEMALE!

Despite there being the “Ink Blot Art” tradition during mating season, the humanoid variant can either have their relationships start as if it where high school or in adulthood… just like how mankind has their relationships begin.

A little art piece about how the two met!

Earth: The Bio-Artificial Era OC #1 : Calapenn The Fountain Ink Pen Squid! 🦑 🖋️ Location of Discovery: Near the Gulf shores of the Pacific Ocean Combination: Humboldt Squid (main)+ Fountain Ink pen (appearance) + Human (Intelligence)

Calapenn Info (1/2)

+ Ink Pen Squid (Humanoid Variant)

Fun Facts:
- Unlike their original species counterpart, Ink Pen Squids NO LONGER resort to eating eachother… reason is unknown…

- Their squid ink can be retracted by pin point.

- If Pin point breaks off, it too can regenerate!

Calapenn Info (2/2)

SOME additional Info:
- “Ink Blot art” is how males compete for females. If chosen female can’t decide, both males fight until one gives up…

- They can hold grudges, which can be prevented if given a random gift like a shiny rock or something they consider interesting.

- Both Variants can molt their armor, leaving them vulnerable to attacks by predators that find them easy to eat.

Fountain Ink Pen Squid (Animal Variant) OLD DESIGN (new To Be designed soon…)

“ENRAGED” Fountain Ink Pen Squid (Animal Variant) OLD DESIGN (new To Be designed soon…)

Just like Humboldt squid, Ink Pen Squids can flash red when provoked. Which they will attack, but it is reported that they can attack AS A GROUP to help a fellow group member.
