It's not limiting artistic freedom to anyalize and comment on art someone decides to put out into the world, yet I often see that being implied. Not that you did so directly, it just reminded me and now I'm rambling lol

I agree that fiction should not be criminalized, ofc. It strikes me as odd tho when someone says "hey, could you maybe not normalize/glorify this harmful thing in your art?" only to be accused of stifling creative expression.

[Vent, tickling] Why... why do we refer to lees as victims? Why is all the art rapey and portray consent as unnecessary? How can I feel safe in a community that glorifies fear and suffering at every turn? I'm so tired... #Vent #rant #tickling #consent

[Writer's block rant, tickling] Felt like I wanted to quit writing entirely last night when I tried it for the first time in months, spent hours on only a few paragraphs, and still hated how they sounded in my head. When I have an idea for a scene, I want to write that scene and noth[...]

Damn, I wish I could draw. It's either that or figure out how to write shorter short stories. I have so many ideas that work as single pictures or comics with a few panels, but if I write I feel the need to "justify" that central idea with tons of context. #writing #writers-block

I would be sad bc I love your art and want to continue following what you do, plus I don't want to see everything you HAVE done vanish. As for changing your name/identity, that's your desicion of course and I don't think anyone would or could be mad over you being comfortable with yourself <3

000

Both Ends of the Quill🔞 @bothendsofthequill.bsky.bark.wolp.chat · 25/03/2026

Also, I know everything is "just fiction" and all, but have you stopped to think about the language of "they're asking for it" that's always used in tickling spaces? Pfft, everyone sounds like a bargain bin misogynist at the average family gathering, except now its gender inclusive!! Yay!!

000

Both Ends of the Quill🔞 @bothendsofthequill.bsky.bark.wolp.chat · 25/03/2026

Yes, I'm salty. Tkl fetishists believe intense tkling requires the lee to hate their predicament (bc that's the whole point, ofc). Nothing is ever marked non-con because 1. Its to be expected from tkl art, and 2. If it IS marked as non-con, its likely to feature tkling alongside "normal" abuse. Yay.

100

Both Ends of the Quill🔞 @bothendsofthequill.bsky.bark.wolp.chat · 25/03/2026

Can #tickling artists please learn to tag themselves non-con? I know it doesn't cross your mind because its "just" tickling, but you're still depicting what amounts to rape fetishization and some of us really don't want to see you gushing over how much the victims hate what you claim is affection.

I've been around these communities for a long time, and there's too many problems to list. I would say the art is the symptom and not the issue, but it's kind of both because it feed back into itself. Far too much to get into in a comment thread lmao

000

Both Ends of the Quill🔞 @bothendsofthequill.bsky.bark.wolp.chat · 04/02/2026

I appreciate the advice, I really do, but that's why I admitted my mistake earlier when I DID lash out. I don't think any art should inherently not exist, but if art didn't say anything about the artist or consumer, there would be no point discussing it at all.

Both Ends of the Quill🔞 @bothendsofthequill.bsky.bark.wolp.chat · 01/02/2026

I pointed out exactly what they are doing/saying/making and taking issue with THAT, not implying they replicate their art in reality. Stop telling me to educate myself on what I already comprehend when you won't engage with any of my own points.

000

Both Ends of the Quill🔞 @bothendsofthequill.bsky.bark.wolp.chat · 01/02/2026

Don't tell me what hashtags to use. I was wrong to comment on an artist's post, that's true. However you have a whole community of people willing to stand by your torture fetishism, and have no more of a right to those tags then me. Above all else, I didn't claim anything about anyone.

200

Both Ends of the Quill🔞 @bothendsofthequill.bsky.bark.wolp.chat · 01/02/2026

I don't know what you have or have not gone through, nor do you know what I have. This is not a personal slight against you, it is a criticism of community that is full of nothing but this kind of thing. Don't tell me to go off in my own little corner when it doesn't fucking exist.

000

Both Ends of the Quill🔞 @bothendsofthequill.bsky.bark.wolp.chat · 01/02/2026

You're right, which is why I deleted that comment as its not the place for it. I am judging these things as they are. Anything worth respecting as art is also worth criticising and questioning. You want to live in a world where everything is justifiable so long as it's a coping mechanism.

100

Both Ends of the Quill🔞 @bothendsofthequill.bsky.bark.wolp.chat · 31/01/2026

Every instance of non-con bondage must lead to tickling, bc tickling never involves nor is beholden to #consent. Any claims that one dislikes such contact should be ignored, as the ticklee is most likely lying to you. After all, who admits they like being tickled? Nobody worth #tickling! /s

000

Both Ends of the Quill🔞 @bothendsofthequill.bsky.bark.wolp.chat · 31/01/2026

Honestly, you're right that I should have posted it elsewhere. I think it goes much deeper then taste and all art is open to be criticized, but it was rude of me to leave such a sarcastic comment under this post. Pretty unproductive of me.

000

Both Ends of the Quill🔞 @bothendsofthequill.bsky.bark.wolp.chat · 31/01/2026

Those who like non-con get really defensive when challenged, though. Meanwhile, I have felt homeless in communities that should be my safe spaces for almost a decade now, and I am allowed to call out the consistent problems I've seen and experienced in that time.

100

Both Ends of the Quill🔞 @bothendsofthequill.bsky.bark.wolp.chat · 31/01/2026

Additionally, if I were to ignore or block every tickle artist who is like this, there would be none left. When I talked to you last, my points were mostly ignored, and I have no interest in trying twice with someone who doesn't care. You are allowed to make what you want, just as I can question it.

100

Both Ends of the Quill🔞 @bothendsofthequill.bsky.bark.wolp.chat · 31/01/2026

I've already butted heads with you on this. I won't sit here and tell you who to be, what to do, or claim I'm correct on everything, but if you think that such things are mere preferences and don't represent the person making the art in any way, there's no use trying to converse with you.

100

Both Ends of the Quill🔞 @bothendsofthequill.bsky.bark.wolp.chat · 31/01/2026

You know, would it be too much for a tickle artist to not draw or repost art that's blatantly normalizing non-con/abuse? Is that too much to ask? I love intense tickling, but you can have that without the ticklee begging for mercy and hating it. #tickling #furry #furrytickling

110

Both Ends of the Quill🔞 @bothendsofthequill.bsky.bark.wolp.chat · 19/01/2026

Always makes me uncomfortable when I discuss my love of #tickling, how intimate and beautiful it is, only to see someone who liked that post supporting the unambiguous torture porn that my fetish is most commonly associated with. Does nobody else see the severe cognitive dissonance at play? Wtf.

000

Both Ends of the Quill🔞 @bothendsofthequill.bsky.bark.wolp.chat · 19/01/2026

As an ace person, tkling is MY ultimate form of affection. Its my love language, it swoons me, it means so, so very much to me and getting to participate in or gush about it makes me feel whole inside. I think I'm asexual bc my heart knew, from day one, that true love leaves you in hysterics~ (3/3)
