I wrote 244 words (in one sitting) after not writing anything in 2025… am I out of the writing trenches yet?

Who are their hearts waiting for…

Jimin walks on a damp street at night in the Who MV. His head is down but his eyes are looking ahead. A blue neon sign that reads “BLISS” illuminates the scene.

Seokjin walks in a blue tinted alley, glancing sideways. His bangs partially obscure his eyes. His face has fresh cuts and bruises.

I have connected the dots and formed a constellation.

Seokjin is leaning with a hand and partially sitting on the trunk lid of a dark red car.

Jimin is sitting on the bathroom floor. His head is leaning against the wall in between two sinks.

Screaming. Kicking my feet. All my tiredness from the day was suddenly ignored.

Screenshot from a namseok fic titled, “promises to protect”.

It reads: “I don’t know what I would do if you weren’t my roommate,” Hoseok said, looking over Namjoon’s shoulder as Namjoon corrected Hoseok’s math homework. “It’s nice having a best friend who can do math.”

Namjoon laughed. Deep and sweet, and it vibrated in Hoseok’s chest. And it could’ve been the faulty light in their dorm room, but when their eyes met, there was a shift in Namjoon’s gaze, tender and too truthful for Hoseok to look away. “It’s a good thing we would never know, huh, best friend?”

KKSKSKSK THEY WERE SO CUTE IN THIS MORNING SCENE. I forgot.

Snippet of a written scene where Jimin just woke up and gave Jin's cheek a quick smooch. He asked, “What time is it?” as he squinted at his phone screen, and Jin laughed before saying, “Not very early.”

I'm up and scrapping another 3k words of this jinmin ending draft. I still don't get the tone I wanted.. and it's been months.

A screenshot of a written scene and dialogue snippet between Jin and Jimin:

“Alright.” He cleared his throat as he opened the bedroom door. “Thank you for today.”

“So, it’s not a date?” Jimin asked, obviously teasing, as they walked towards the main door.

“It is whatever helps you sleep when it’s your time to sleep.” He winked at Jimin.

A meme. Numerous stick figures put together, each of them depicted in varying degrees of feral and unhinged. A large text at the center says, “jinmin” in all caps
