Covering pips of your cards in Blemdeck is pixel-perfect. To see how much is covered by the sticker you're about to apply, I use the different color channels with a surface and count them using a buffer. Every clubs icon (G) is checked if the snake (B) will cover it! #GameMaker #Indiedev #gamedev

When I can't clearly think of how to do something I often put it off. I expected the difficult work to take an afternoon so I'm happy that turned out to be the case 😊 There's no strategizing yet but they're already not playing illegal cards anymore 🤩 They grow up so fast! #indiedev #indiegame

Two keyboards as long as you're not pressing each other's buttons.
All the letters in the word 'Trapezoids'.
The letters 'H' through 'Q' but without the letter 'K' and the third gamepad instead.

For the last couple of years I've been giving a #GameMaker workshop at a middle school! It's super fun to help them make a game and the week ends with a festival where everyone gets to play them. I also set up Autogame and the large arcade buttons got another beating from 50 or so kids and parents 😅

Just started #beastieball and it's just so nice. Was doubting for a long time because I'm not really into sports or turn-based, but none of this is frustrating here. I always get overwhelmed by the # of moves or elemental RPS, but Beastieball gives all the space you need to get into it. Also: 👏👏👏👏👏

You can clap anytime in beastieball, and your beasties will respond!

The earliest reference to Autogame I can find is from a picture from October 2014, in which it's still part of a brainstorm for a local co-op minigame collection with simple interactions. The first git commit is from 2 years after that though, in 2016!

Autogame Deluxe has been in development for over 10 years now. "Is the game THAT big?!" well no, but stuff happens. I started the prototype when I was still a dev duo with @thomasjager.nl. Since then, I've added and removed soo much. People say "make a lot of small games", well this can work too...🧵

Ten people are sitting in front of large red arcade buttons in the main atrium of the Forum building in Groningen. In front of them is a large screen that has the lobby of Autogame Deluxe on. Around the players are more people standing and watching or visiting the Forum. All ten cars on the large screen are selected and in the center of the screen it says "Get Ready"
