My Hijikata pop mart figure came with a little piece of paper he's supposed to be holding, but now I can't find where I put it. 😫 He looks like he's just inspecting his hand with a frown, lol. I finally got Tae's naginata in her hands and I set up Shinpachi.

🖤 Every time this comes up on the playlist, I hear his voice in that one fight. Darker than Black is of my favourite series. I see it has limited streaming, maybe that's why it's not so well-known anymore (I mean, besides being from 2007; lot of greats back then). 😞 www.youtube.com/watch?v=hCAB...

I'm speedrunning finishing my sketchbook, here are some random drawings 🤗 Translation for the second one in alt text #銀魂 #Gintama

Gintama fanaty. Bansai looking cool in a leather vest and pants, wearing spiked collar and jewelry

Gintama fanart. Takasugi saying "Memento Mori is my favorite motivational quote."

Memento mori, latin for "remember that you must die"

The whole quote is from the Netflix show "1670"

Gintama fanart. Nobume and Isaburo in casual clothes, eating doughnuts. Isaburo is showing Nobume his phone, the dialogue goes "look, he left me on read again." "rude." "I know, right?" "Should i kill him?"

Gintama fanart. Yamazaki slav squating, looking very tired.

They meet randomly somewhere in space, first time after the war. Again, Takasugi with a quote from 1670 (the show) (it's funny, watch it) #銀魂 #Gintama

1/3 Sakamoto looking concerned, asking "Bro, what happened to your eye?"

2/3. Takasugi, looking tired, smoking his kiseru

Takasugi, still looking tired, saying "well, I hope nothing because I only have one."

I just think that Tenko deserves to look cool. #銀魂 #Gintama

Gintama fanart. Hijikata Tenko standing in rubble, wearing a miniskirt and high heels, holding a blood stained katana in one hand and a cigarette in the other. She's looking super cool and sexy.

Finally have some time to sit down and watch the Yoshiwara in Flames movie. I wasn't planning to take notes, but here I am with a small notebook, lol. I'll be watching this more than once since this first viewing is distracted by noticing the differences, pacing, exposition, etc.

Miraculously found them in a local store. The keychains I got from Japan, just added for fun. I'm trying to figure out how to put Tae's naginata on without breaking anything lol. I don't collect figurines as much, but these were cute. Lucky to get them both by chance! (Got other characters, too.)

Also picked up some missing volumes from my Gintama manga collection that I was never able to get during time of publication. I need to get a new bookshelf to display just my manga only alongside merch. People have such nice set-ups, and I put things where there's space & above a dog's eye level lol

Finally got my copy of Half is More by Yoiko Fujimi, and I finished reading it a short while ago. Can't wait for more! Bittersweet and wonderful, it's an important manga that will resonate with many. Speaking as an Indigenous/Native American manga fan for decades, it meant a lot to me as well.

Rewatching some Noragami and remembered how much I enjoy it. 💙 Need that 3rd season! Esp now that the manga is finished, though I've got a lot to catch up on. iirc it was monthly updates, so I would catch up for awhile, then fall behind and have to reread, SO much was going on at once.

I was doing some writing warm-up exercises with fanfic before tackling my original fic work. Then all of a sudden I started writing out a Yamazaki fic because the story kept unveiling itself. 😩 I can't seem to shake off writing Gintama gen fic for characters who don't get much attention fic-wise.

I'm about 75% finished with the final chapter of my Kamui fic. It's been a long time since the last chapter. The story has been emotionally exhausting to write in a good way. I just have to reread a bit to remember some details, lol. archiveofourown.org/works/313675...
