Chapter on City Disorder from Civilization Manual.

Under the government types Despotism, Monarchy, or Communism, it is possible to restore order to a city using martial law. Each military unit in a city makes one unhappy citizen content. Only those units possessing an attack factor of 1 or more can impose martial law. By moving enough units into a city suffering civil disorder, order may be restored.

S3 has a concept of pre-signed links granting temporary access to a single file. My S3 client uses this for minimal-infrastructure sharing of files and upload of files where the other part just needs a web browser. apps.apple.com/app/apple-st...

Try out HyperContext for automating your Mac from Claude in a controlled way. workingcopy.app/test/HyperCo... There are other similar tools but HyperContext makes it particularly easy to restrict which Mail folders, Contacts groups, Reminders lists, Calendars and Shortcuts are available to Claude.

By using presigned put links from a page hosted via presigned get links you can make secure requests for anybody with a browser to upload to your S3 bucket. It works with AWS, Backblaze, MinIO instances and I would expect any other S3 service with presigned link support. Coming soon to s3files.app

S3 Files was updated today with support for client-side AES-GCM encryption making strong end-to-end encryption on S3 very easy. apps.apple.com/app/apple-st... Filenames are not encrypted.

I have started testing server-side-encryption with customer-provided keys (SSE-C) in my S3 client. Help me iron out the kinks by running the TestFlight beta. testflight.apple.com/join/QA73p33u I know a lot of people would prefer client-side-encryption but SSE-C is a nice stepping stone.
