A little while ago I made a list of which bands'/artists' lyrics and vibes would correspond with thematics of what game series. Keep in mind that this is NOT based on how alike the music is, but instead more based on lyrics and story.

Imma export this trend onto bluesky. I interpret that people consider "ancient" gen everything before 2000's, old gen is 2000's, mid gen is 2010's and new gen is basically current.

When will they release the Mario Kart World OST on Nintendo Music so I'll actually use their little app for once?

4 video game women you find attractive I think I'm allowed to openly simp for fictional characters on Bluesky ☺️ * Dorothea (Fire Emblem: Three Houses) * Zelda (tLoZ: Skyward Sword) (I was 17 when I simped the shit outta her) * Melony (Pokémon gen 8) * Mia Fey (Ace Attorney)

Top 5 anime betrayals. You're just a disgusting void echo of my true beloved. 😔💚

Ever since 2016 I've had a tradition I call anime christmas calendar, where I watch one episode (or two if need) every day from the 1st of December to the 24th of an anime that's been recommended to me that I've never seen. This is my tier list of those shows!😇

Weebs rise up, we made a HUGE upset today!! Two weeks ago I made a bet with my two anime hating normie colleagues that if I beat the one who got third in our workplace pingpong tournament (she's actually insane) in a match of pingpong, they'd watch ONE anime episode AND AFTER 18 TRIES I DID IT 😩😩😩😩

After going through a rather though year, I've tried to get back to writing since that's a big part of me. I've always struggled with sharing my writing, which I tried to overcome during 2019 when I posted on a blog. I figured I'd share some of these 🌼 A Sleeping World Aug 29th 2019

Day 30: I dont know what "Per System" means but this is my overall favorite video game of all time. I can't think of any other game that has had as much of an impact on me as Majora's Mask. While some aspects of the game might seem clunky now, the themes just get more relevant for each passing year.

Day 29: Two friends of mine are working on this, and because they're working on this I know for a FACT it's gonna be hype af 😎

Bambi @bortabambi.bsky.social · 15/12/2024

Managed to find this on guitar without looking up tabs or anything 💗

Day 28: Fighting games is a very close second but they just don't give me the same sense of awe that adventure games/RPGs give. They just make life so much more elevated.

Bambi @bortabambi.bsky.social · 14/12/2024

Day 27: The skull kids as species and the kokiri are such incredibly cool and thought-provoking metaphors that I kinda wish all fictional species were like this. (I chose both cause they work in junction)

010

Bambi @bortabambi.bsky.social · 13/12/2024

Day 26: Nothing comes close to this level of consistency

020

Bambi @bortabambi.bsky.social · 11/12/2024

Day 25: Coldest mf in the world of law

010

Bambi @bortabambi.bsky.social · 10/12/2024

Day 24: How does this game have banger af adventure themes, town themes AND battle themes??????

120

Bambi @bortabambi.bsky.social · 10/12/2024

Day 23: I think this actually was our very first pre-order, which is a really fucking cool pre-order to start with.

030

Bambi @bortabambi.bsky.social · 08/12/2024

Day 21: Creating characters became like half the game for so many people lmao

031

Bambi @bortabambi.bsky.social · 07/12/2024

Day 20: While it was visually, musically and just thematically incredible and stunning, the final boss of Breath of the Wild was such a kindergarten level of difficulty. Kinda dims down the climax of it all by a lot 😕

020

Bambi @bortabambi.bsky.social · 05/12/2024

Day 19: Maybe it's not counted as a mechanic and more a theme, but I really do believe the repeat day cycle idea is an underutilized basis for games. It's something that also objectively works best in the medium of games.

030

Bambi @bortabambi.bsky.social · 05/12/2024

Day 18: I got so fucking pissed off when these fucking dogs wouldn't comprehend my fucking DS mic distorted voice

040

Bambi @bortabambi.bsky.social · 04/12/2024

Day 17: There's just not much that can even compare to the excitement and pure joy you get from this

030

Bambi @bortabambi.bsky.social · 03/12/2024

Day 16: Literally life changing plot twist

050

Bambi @bortabambi.bsky.social · 01/12/2024

Day 15: Good LORD it was rough getting through this game. I was prepared for the story to be self-proclaimed profound mumbo jumbo, but the way everyone praised KH2 I thought gameplay would at least be pretty good. It was not. So many parts of it just felt unfinished even.

020

Bambi @bortabambi.bsky.social · 30/11/2024

Day 14: Since I was talking about it today with a friend I'll show this. The Insect Glaive almost single-handedly made me actually love playing Monster Hunter. It was an ok experience at best with other weapons, but this, combined with the wire bugs in Rise, made me fall in love with Monster Hunter.

020

Bambi @bortabambi.bsky.social · 30/11/2024

Day 13: Adam Howden managed to create some of the most iconic meme'd on lines while also giving some of the most emotionally deeply cutting deliveries in gaming, all in the same game. I can't think of any other voice actor pulling that off.

040

Bambi @bortabambi.bsky.social · 28/11/2024

Day 12: ...................

010

Bambi @bortabambi.bsky.social · 28/11/2024

Day 11: P5 released and I played through it when I had no education, was unemployed and had just gotten semi-cheated on. P5R then released during start of covid and a whole bunch of messy personal shit. They just came on very opportune moments, and they have this way of making you feel less useless.

040

Bambi @bortabambi.bsky.social · 26/11/2024

Day 10: It's a shame that Rakuen got relatively so little recognition when it's as impactful and important as To the Moon

120

Bambi @bortabambi.bsky.social · 24/11/2024

Day 9: Hard to top Count Bleck

040

Bambi @bortabambi.bsky.social · 24/11/2024

Day 8: Ike is maybe the best written game character overall 💙

150

Bambi @bortabambi.bsky.social · 23/11/2024

Day 7: So insanely underrated. I got so many memories of Nintendo Land with friends, many of whom rarely play video games, but they just managed to get into the game anyway.

020

Bambi @bortabambi.bsky.social · 22/11/2024

This dude was manspreading so fucking hard on the train. Didnt move an inch when I sat down (after asking if it's ok to sit there and he nodded). I started listening to some Naruto OP bangers, and started drumming along with my legs, and he moved his leg aside cause of it. Dattebayo motherfucker 🦊🍃🖕

Day 6: I got so fucking invested whenever they showed the world map between chapters and told everything that's going on
