Third collector box acquired with this very stupid pile of rares. I felt bad for some of the OPs as I just did some silly curve outs like Gideon into Chandra into Sphinx. I calling it quits this direct early while I'm ahead, 3 boxes on 12 bullets. Despite winning a lot I can't say I like the format.

Got there for the RC invite in today's limited RCQ. Didn't drop a game all day despite not really having any of the busted rares/mythics that are rampant in this set. 9-1 over the weekend in matches I actually played. Not too bad.

Lost in the last round of limited RCQ today to not get the Q. Running it back tomorrow. I for sure could have played a bit better at spots, but I overall felt like I was playing pretty well today and managed to steal wins I probably had no business winning.

mostly just the new prowess guy, but I think another 1 drop prowess guy for the deck is big game, but even better with this guy cuz it gives you something to do with a top decked leyline. Angels might be worse than the current UW momo build, but it's at least given me thought.

I have trophied my last 5 arena cube drafts now, but this one is by far the most nonsense of them all. I have clearly been watching too many content creator streams/VODs. I need LSV to rate my Lurrus deck, as he has poisoned my decision making into forcing the Lurrus deck.

I've already fired off like 25 bullets in the arena direct, and head of the hunt is easily the card responsible for more losses than any other card. It's a tough card to try to play around in a format that wants you to race so much, especially when it's more likely the OP is just holding up removal

I have been saying it for a while... Alchemy cards suck cuz they aren't cool or fun designs, they are just strictly power crept cards. Alchemy design is basically MH3 but as a mini expansion for every set on arena

The current Arena cube is a really cool idea that is just ruined by Alchemy cards. The majority of Alchemy cards in the cube just play like MH3 cube cards: they aren't cool, fun or interesting, they are just generally stronger that all the other cards. Power creep is not good design

In the beginning, the bonus sheet was cool cuz it had a bunch of weird build around stuff to do in draft. Now the bonus sheet just makes limited worse, as every bonus just looks like 5 sweeper variants, 3 baneslayer variants, 2 giant ass dragons, SoFaI and Jitte...

For example, I think it'd be easy to splash this combo in elves and still be 90% of a functioning elves deck. Insert it into jund wildfires. Probably not insane to even stick this into a Rg burn deck or Rg rally deck.

While I feel it's easy enough to disrupt the combo, I think it's going to be a problem with how easily it slots into completely functional decks, so now it's not enough to just beat the combo. It's early, so right now people are copy pasta gates, but easy to see a format that's all flavors of this.

It's not about proving anything... I just want someone in the running late in big events to cheer for and will actively make me care about what's going on. Even if you're playing the worst deck in the room, I'm 1000% more interested in the event when you're at the top tables.
