2026 Reading List - Book 12: Every empire wanted Alexandria. Greeks, Romans, Ottomans, French, British — all left their mark on a city that kept reinventing itself across millennia. Issa writes about it like someone who grew up in its streets. Scholarly, personal, and quietly dazzling. #booksky 📚
