I don't like how little Jurards design implements any T-rex elements, so I made a little mock up as to what I would tweak. It's not a redesign, but a demonstration of how you can fit these details and better represent his species in the existing design. No offense to the of artist🧵 #JurasickArt

Finished watching Oak street and honestly 5/10. It had some good moments and characters, but some of the scenes were set up in a really unserious way, the movie does start to feel repetitive after a while. Also creature design and art direction are kind of a mess.

Flora design study pt. 2 The inverse of the previous one. What if plants used nectar to attract seed dispersers? These are all the species from the previous part. #specevo

Insect seed dispersal. The bug enters through the large opening and must climb through the tight top part, where a seed attaches to the back.

Small mammal seed dispersal. A big pad for them to sit while the seeds get stuck in their fur.

Frog pollination. Big seeds on the bottom get stuck to the frog's feet and belly, while the small ones up top get stuck to the snout or dislodged. The small ones rely on mycorrhyzal fungi for growth and often become male.

Bird seed dispersal. The seeds are easily ingested.

Flora design study! What if flowers and fruit swapped roles? The flowers have a specialized "edipal" that draws in frugivores*, that then spread the pollen to other plants. Might do the reverse with fruit some time #specevo

Jade vine-esque one. Made for pollination from large herbivores.

One edipal ripens before the other, coinciding with the activity of the carpels and stamens to avoid self-pollination

Each pit is made for pocking birds, whose heads get covered in pollen.
