Boring Cars @boringcars.bsky.social · 23/08/2026Fixed some stuff. Still didn’t get to finished but we are close! I need a fuel pump and in theory I’ll be cruising. New carb, plug, filters n fluids, valve shims swapped, cleaned and reassembled. The pump goes in underneath so slapping it together in hopes it’s truly the final thing 031
Boring Cars @boringcars.bsky.social · 20/08/2026Just brought home my newest project, a $100 Honda Ruckus! Stoner kid I bought it from said this thing to the spark plug is messed up. Literally had the plug cap sitting in the coil. Pulled it out, put the wire back on the plug and it sputtered to life first couple kicks! 071

Boring Cars @boringcars.bsky.social · 10/08/2026Bought a utility trailer today as a thank you to a neighbor who helps out with a lot of things. It immediately turned in to a project! New decking, lights, casters so we can fold it and roll it. Ultimately it’s for him, but it’s for the neighborhood to abuse. Pic 1 as we got it. 041
Boring Cars @boringcars.bsky.social · 06/08/2026Dagum it’s turning out proper! Got the brakes dialed in, new levers and fresh grips. The white walls are sooo slick. I am loving it 031
Boring Cars @boringcars.bsky.social · 06/08/2026Progress! New tires look incredible, need to clean them so they’re as proper as they should. Dropped in new brake pads as well. Still adjusting them a bit but I can at least stop when I want now. New brake levers plus a fresh seat and grips arrived but not installed yet. Plan is coming together 👌🏻 060

Boring Cars @boringcars.bsky.social · 17/01/2026Yet another jeep has appeared as a trade offering. This one presents better and has the upgraded interior (but same ol 3.8) but I feel has more mechanical stuff to futz with. It is at the end of the day tho, worth more and a clean title car. 000
Boring Cars @boringcars.bsky.social · 11/01/2026Defender console mounted! Updated with cup holders and aligned latch. Plus I scooted my radio up higher on the bulkhead. It all feels so right! Very happy with the results 060
Boring Cars @boringcars.bsky.social · 08/01/2026Interesting possible swap on the table. It’s got a lot of things to undo but a clear title and a project could be worth exploring. 2010 3.8 auto - open to hearing feedback from the boresphere 240
