The US and Israel also started the war in June while supposedly being close to deal with Iran. There are reasons why Iran was not interested in negotiations and only did it because Russia and China asked them to.

Iran can close the Strait of Mandeb and then the world economy is toast within a month. They have all the cards + a huge ace up their sleeve. The US has nothing. An invasion of a huge country that's 80% mountains would take long and likely fail. Even nuking Tehran wouldn't force the Strait open.

There is no organized opposition inside Iran, and the groups outaide Iran are small and very intolerant of differing oppinions. The MEK is an outright cult and the monarchists are not far from it, and both are very willing to let many Iranian civilians die for little to no benefit to their cause

How does any of that amount to a different government? There is no way to hit the government without hitting the people. And the west has already proven that it does not care about the Iranian people and just wants Iran weakened as a geostrategical rival of israel

Why would Iran agree to that, it would be giving up it's biggest piece of leverage? They may open the Strait of the US stops saying one thing and then betraying Iran but I wouldn't put a single cent on the US starting to keep its word.

I think if you're flying a lot maybe at some point it feels like a lot of time lost overall. I fly like once or twice a year and I'm definitely not gonna start my vacation by risking missing a flight and losikg days or lots of money for 60 minutes that I would have been stressed out at home

We don't have a say. If you seriously try to do anything about that, Seoul will be a radioactive pile of molten concrete. That's the point of nukes. You are safe from external aggression. Kim Jong Un is a dictator but he is not a fool. He (and the DPRK) has also not actually attacked anybody.

The issue right now is the US is desperate to end the war but doesn't want to agree to any deal that doesn't mean they get everything and they won. But they very obviously lost and they neither have capable diplomats nor do they have anyone willing to even admit they didn't totally 100% win.

I don't think it's a serious question, I don't think it's a serious topic. Intelligence can mean everything and nothing. The one thing people agree on about intelligence is that it's desirable and so they wanna gatekeep it, even when they obviously don't have a clear idea of what it is in mind.
