like, while people can critique the things they enjoy and i do think that (among other critical thinking skills) should be encouraged. you donot have to be a media critic 24/7. you are allowed to like stuff. you are not mindless for enjoying something or engaging with it. you are a human being

i think the memories are returning, i was in middleschool when this what happening. i think i might have felt a bit bad for him being put under stress, since i was a nieve kid... but now as an adult who knows what he'd do with the money and what that would result in... i dont feel bad for him

My point is that you’re allowed to like stuff, but you gotta be critical & you gotta know where to draw the line. Especially since everything was either made by someone who has or will do/believe/say something really bad or is owned by a large corporation that only cares about money.

This year CloudCo released a Harry Potter Care Bears collaboration and Mattel released a Coraline Skullectors doll. Both of these collabs existences go against their respective IPs messages. Obviously I did not buy any of these

Both can be true at once. We should be a lot more critical of people like SC and not support FNAF because of his donation history. We should also not give people a pass to be racist because they are trans, gay, or have any other queer identity. (3/3)

I also think it sucks that we put openly queer & other marginalized creators with queer themes or themes relating to marginalized people under more scrutiny than non-marginalized white (presumed) cishet creators and SC should also be held accountable for his actions and we shouldn’t support him(2/3)
