And whilst we’re looking at Canvey Island there is this tidal barrier at the western end which shows a route that joins up to Pitsea. All private property and cut off.

Cycling, there is only one road on to Canvey. The red lines mark shared space but the bridge is ‘rejoin carriageway’, yet there is the yellow highlighted path. This is owned by water board and is a tidal barrier but could be cycled on. Let’s have a permissive path?

Council building a cycle lane (possibly shared path) along the A13. At this roundabout its route is the red line. So far I see no drop kurbs meaning if you come from Maplin Way North you cannot get on the lane… equally if on the lane you can’t get off to go down Maplin Way Nth

Why? Cycle lane (red arrows) is on one side and then it is on the other side once through the crossing. It just means people walking/cycling in wrong areas.

This is a little north of Thorney on the Colne Valley Trail, I believe under Buckinghamshire CC on land owned by Affinity Water. Struggled to get my fairly standard bike through here. Good job not on a trike!

In the same time period that cyclists injured 234 pedetrians, people driving cars KILLED 245 and injured many more. Not condoning or minimising any injury but the focus is on the wrong group.

NCN2 Rye to Lydd is traffic except for Camber and Lydd Rd. Camber is 30mph, meh. But Lydd Rd is NSL. Alongside is wide sea wall that people walk on. Why not designate that NCN2 for traffic free all the way?

Dedicated traffic free cycling route alongside a NSL road. You know, for kids. Used to get to local attraction. Expected to cycle past it and double back on the road because no one thought people may want to get off the path. But, a desire line type gap was just in the right spot
