✨ coming with 2.0 full release: "Reviews" With 2.0 full release you will be able to (finally) leave reviews, allowing users to recommend an asset or avatar for their exceptional quality or to warn about certain shortcomings that could be a deal-breaker for others.

BOOTHPLORER @boothplorer.com · 31/08/2026

✨ coming with 2.0 full release: "Bookmarks" With 2.0 full release you will be able to bookmark assets, avatars and shops. Allowing you to track their prices and/or new content (if it is an avatar or shop) on certain parts of the website.

No teaser posts today as we are hard at work getting 2.0 full release ready and like a surprise. Maybe more than one surprise even. But we are curious, have you recently bought an asset that didn't meet your expectations and did you wish you could write a review on it?

✨ coming with 2.0 full release: "Enhanced Asset Metadata" We are putting the (ex)plorer back in BOOTHPLORER with this feature, allowing users to see AND filter by more than ever before. For now, have a look at how Enhanced Asset Metadata enriches our all-new asset cards.

✨ coming with 2.0 full release: "Avatar Groups" While bodygroups offer asset compatibility from the get go, avatar groups tell the user that most assets from grouped avatars work with a disclaimer, which will be displayed on their avatar pages in 2.0 full release.

BOOTHPLORER @boothplorer.com · 25/08/2026

✨ coming with 2.0 full release: "Translations That Don't Suck" Empty translations, overly verbose translations with so much clutter; we get it, it's embarrassing! That's why we completely rewrote our translation system; outputting cleaner, meaningful translations for assets.

BOOTHPLORER @boothplorer.com · 23/08/2026

✨ coming with 2.0 full release: "Avatar Tierlist Maker" With all features you are used to from other websites such as Tiermaker with a huge catalogue of avatars at your fingertips to tell your friends or followers your important opinion on BOOTH avatars!

BOOTHPLORER @boothplorer.com · 21/08/2026

✨ coming with 2.0 full release: "True Pricing" On BOOTH, prices usually reflect the cheapest variant rather than that of the actual avatar itself. True Pricing fixes this, showing the real cost of assets & avatars and getting rid of 'clickbait prices'.

We have performed some "spring cleaning" on 2.0 following feedback and observing increasing performance overhead on the website and our background jobs. In addition we have added additional RAM and disk space to our web server to accommodate for this.

We have just enabled over 150 additional avatars on 2.0, bringing the total amount of enabled avatars on 2.0 to 221. You can browse them at devola.boothplorer.com/avatars It will take a moment for the scraper to index assets for these avatars, thank you for your patience.

Hello everyone, due to issues found while preparing the release of the rewrite on our staging server using the live database we have to unfortunately push back the release of the rewrite for somewhere this month. We are disappointed, but this is the right call while keeping 1.0 up for a bit longer.

BOOTHPLORER @boothplorer.com · 26/05/2025

Hello everyone, over the few coming days we will be performing test migrations to convert the live Database to the new Database structure from the rewrite. The website might be slower at times this week between 16:00 to 22:00 UTC.

Hello everyone, we have gotten a significant amount of requests to list Yugiri. Truth to be told, it would not be responsible for us to do so. Just because an item for Kikyo is workin on Kikyo's *body*, doesn't mean that same asset would work on Yugiri's *head*.

Hello everyone, we have updated our face tracking data. 7 avatars have been given/marked as having face tracking support from third party creators. In relevant note, with our 2.0 update we will be able to automatically assign face tracking assets to avatars; this is currently done manually.

Hello everyone, we have updated our face tracking data. Some avatars like Milltina and Zil S(econd) have had multiple packages released since our last update. Progress on our next website update is going steadily and we aim to have 2.0 ready early this year with many new and improved features.
