I’m making myself wait to start tower of dawn so I can let it settle for a little bit so I’m reading the voyage home by Pat barker to feed into my Greek mythology obsession after seeing the odyssey

I finished empire of storms the other night and it absolutely wrecked me

bean 🦋🧚🏻‍♂️✨🌈 @bookwormbean.bsky.social · 11/08/2026

The spiderverse movies are sooooo good and also have a lot of queer themes!!!

060

bean 🦋🧚🏻‍♂️✨🌈 @bookwormbean.bsky.social · 19/07/2026

Yeah something is not right with whoever does his audio engineering

020

bean 🦋🧚🏻‍♂️✨🌈 @bookwormbean.bsky.social · 19/07/2026

Could’ve been 15-20% quieter and the sound would’ve been just as powerful

110

bean 🦋🧚🏻‍♂️✨🌈 @bookwormbean.bsky.social · 19/07/2026

It was loud to the point that the audio was distorted imo, I’m glad I saw a post about this and brought earplugs because otherwise I would’ve been miserable the whole time

110

bean 🦋🧚🏻‍♂️✨🌈 @bookwormbean.bsky.social · 19/07/2026

Saw the odyssey last night and it was basically flawless except why the hell was it SO LOUD

I loved CC so much!! I loved acotar too but something about CC just scratched an itch

200

bean 🦋🧚🏻‍♂️✨🌈 @bookwormbean.bsky.social · 15/07/2026

It took me a minute to get into it but I really enjoyed heir of fire so I’m excited for the second half of the series!!!

100

bean 🦋🧚🏻‍♂️✨🌈 @bookwormbean.bsky.social · 15/07/2026

Same hahaha I’m still working my way through throne of glass before acotar 6!

120

bean 🦋🧚🏻‍♂️✨🌈 @bookwormbean.bsky.social · 15/07/2026

New book coming out in September! Not the next in the series, it’s probably more novella length? But she announced today that it’ll be stories of different characters’ threshing days!

Any fourth wing fans in the chat, big day today very big

200

bean 🦋🧚🏻‍♂️✨🌈 @bookwormbean.bsky.social · 09/07/2026

Omg I don’t know how I’ve never heard of this but I can’t wait to give it

010

bean 🦋🧚🏻‍♂️✨🌈 @bookwormbean.bsky.social · 08/07/2026

Thank you!! I started at like #75 for yesteryear and it only took about 2 months!! I hope you love it, I had such a fun time reading that one

000

bean 🦋🧚🏻‍♂️✨🌈 @bookwormbean.bsky.social · 08/07/2026

Reading throne of glass and obviously getting them from the library because I don’t want to buy all 17 of her books (at least not until the series are completed) and freaking waiting in the hold line is the worst ever

010

bean 🦋🧚🏻‍♂️✨🌈 @bookwormbean.bsky.social · 06/07/2026

Actually a great point bc the odyssey starts like 7-8 years after the Trojan war ends iirc so they talk about the horse and how brilliant Odysseus was for coming up with it but it’s not actually a plot point in that story

bean 🦋🧚🏻‍♂️✨🌈 @bookwormbean.bsky.social · 06/07/2026

Just found out I’m getting a huge raise (everyone where I work is getting one, I guess it’s been in the works for a long time) and I’m truly so giddy

“She just planted a timeline and we watched it play out in real life” OMGGGG plsssss

2140

bean 🦋🧚🏻‍♂️✨🌈 @bookwormbean.bsky.social · 06/07/2026

The idea that a song could be about more than one person/experience at a time absolutely breaks their brains

030

bean 🦋🧚🏻‍♂️✨🌈 @bookwormbean.bsky.social · 05/07/2026

Why is it so scraggly??? Charlie Brown Christmas tree ass bouquet

If I’m a wedding guest and I have to sit through 40 minutes of your vows I’m gonna be so annoyed

070

bean 🦋🧚🏻‍♂️✨🌈 @bookwormbean.bsky.social · 05/07/2026

She’s like “do you think they really got married” and I’m like listen I wouldn’t even want to begin to guess what this woman has planned

050

bean 🦋🧚🏻‍♂️✨🌈 @bookwormbean.bsky.social · 05/07/2026

My sweet mom has listened to my gaylor ramblings for years and she keeps asking me to explain this wedding to her and I’m like girl I’m at a loss

140

bean 🦋🧚🏻‍♂️✨🌈 @bookwormbean.bsky.social · 04/07/2026

I think I’ve landed on never-coming-out-lor (I prefer hiding in plain sight), but it’s kinda enough for me to see shit like this and just know

030

bean 🦋🧚🏻‍♂️✨🌈 @bookwormbean.bsky.social · 04/07/2026

I’m sorry I just can’t get over Alice in wonderland meets wizard of oz I feel like I’m going insane HAHAHA

1100

bean 🦋🧚🏻‍♂️✨🌈 @bookwormbean.bsky.social · 10/06/2026

Surely all of the horse bit/cowboy stuff she’s been wearing is somehow related to the Jessie (cowgirl) of it all right has someone smarter than me talked about this already

0120

bean 🦋🧚🏻‍♂️✨🌈 @bookwormbean.bsky.social · 24/05/2026

So you can buy one if you don’t work but it’s really expensive. If you have a full time job your employer pays for like 75% per month and you pay the other 25% and it’s a nonsensical system

130

bean 🦋🧚🏻‍♂️✨🌈 @bookwormbean.bsky.social · 09/04/2026

and yes my car is back in the shop for the 4th time in 2 months 🫠🤩🤪

010

bean 🦋🧚🏻‍♂️✨🌈 @bookwormbean.bsky.social · 09/04/2026

I need everyone to clap for me because this week I’m on my period, don’t have a car, and I just went to the gym for the third day in a row

*whispers* Archivist is a real job that people get master degrees for so it doesn't even really make sense to say this was low effort it's just not effort we as a society are used to recognizing and valuing
