iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Yeah it’s just not there this year. A find glimpses of hope in each episode. Mainly Chloe. But it’s just not the usual TM. TM New Zealand tho. Banger from the start.

That’s completely plausible. I just don’t see him doing it tho. Even though it’s been discussed. Or maybe I’m hoping he doesn’t.

Maybe series 23 of taskmaster might redeem the shit show that is series 22

What stage of dealing with the impending death of a parent is sarcasm and awkward humour. Cos I’m at that stage.

That guy knew exactly what he was doing. It wasn’t random.

100% yes on a few different levels. Mainly the team she is in. But also being cast with those 2 in general.

Chloe whispering “I’ll eat anything” and then her muffin analogy. Has her being more relatable every episode. And that says more about me than anything.

I think the only one that will come close is Chloe. The both of the men are there to just make up the numbers and Izzy has her moments but i think will carry any chaos this series.

I’ve just watched this weeks taskmaster. And I feel like I need to watch it again. Something felt off and I don’t know why.

Season 2 of the paper is here. I needed this today.

It’s an acquired taste. I didn’t mind it. But I can see why people couldn’t watch it.

Book of Taskmaster @bookoftaskmaster.bsky.social · 04/09/2026

Spot on. I thought Chloe and Matt might be on in a team and then Richard comes in and kills the vibe. I know his character is bit of a dick but even in the studio he just comes across as someone who doesn’t want to be there and is just there for a paycheck.

While watching this episode I realised it’s going to be a struggle.

Richard is going to score better than he should in this series cos Greg likes him. Yeah I said it. #taskmaster

Soooooo. I’ve decided to put my taskmaster thoughts into more than just posts. So I started a substacks. Like all the cool kids do. There’s nothing there yet but I’ll start this week after the first episode. substack.com/@bookoftaskm...

Series 22 premiere or S23 studio records ??

Nah I tried that. And I asked if it was possible to preview but didn’t hear back.

I’m tempted to make and order a taskmaster one.

170

Book of Taskmaster @bookoftaskmaster.bsky.social · 21/08/2026

Exactly.I think this series knew the show well enough to know what they might expect. Most other series has one or 2 people that have no idea and sometimes it doesn’t work. This cast knew just enough.

Series 7 has a bit of everything. It’s just the perfect package

I have a theory on this but last time I even spoke remotely Negatively about Greg I almost got cancelled.

Yeah used to be a fan of Noel’s. Now he’s just boring. Don’t think he deserved to win series 4. Thought Joe should have won. And it shows in champion of champions.

Oh I have mentioned my least favourite taskmaster contestant once on twitter and almost got cancelled. It’s not worth it.

Al Murray just threw money at the hopes of victory. David Baddiel was just bland. Didn’t mind Alan Davies. He had some moments but also felt like he was dialling in at times. This series tho. Not looking forward to Matt Lucas. I’ve heard some studio records were awkward and flat because of him

So new taskmaster September 3. I don’t think I’ve seen so many people underwhelmed for a series. Ever.

So I started my Taskmaster re watch. And can I just say Josh Widdicombe spoils series 1 for me. His whining and talking over everyone. God damn annoying.

Season 2 needs to be a mission to the UK and Greg Davies is the villain. Pls and thank you.

Today's goal is to watch New Zealand Spy. A huge taskmasterverse presence in this show. Including the one and only Tim Key
