As for ideal reader, I agree with John. It's always me. I guess I hope that's what translated to my own children and might create a connection with the (perhaps mythical) children I write and draw for now--a shared my delight in a story I can find myself in. #kidlitchat

Some people might not be aware, but it is entirely possible that without Dolly Parton we wouldn’t have had a COVID vaccine. She partly funded Moderna’s research and gave the largest individual contribution to make it all happen. Just gives you an idea of the kind of person she was.
