These are exquisite compared to what comes with the kit. I've no clue on the function of the cylinders - mortars shells being my guess.

My thoughts exactly! Those long wispy legs allows it to advance and extend it's reach to spin the ensnaring web whilst the big one tried to shake away vigorously. It went back an forth repeating the process many times.

I witnessed a awesome spider battle in my house: long legged wispy vs the one in the picture. The wispy won, it deployed intresting tactics - advance and web snare prey, retreat and repeat until the big one was fully bound up. It took a good while as the big one fought ferociously.

Are you planning on getting that stowage detail set? It would look super with all that kit piled on to it. I started one of these for one of the jff group buildings, I attempted to Sculpting to make saggy looking seats. It's still a work in progress, so surprise there for me☺️

Still lovely looking graphics. I've never consider this type of driving game before.

So long as you can run your favourite games, that flight sim you occasionally screenshot looks beautiful.

It's frustrating isn't it. The ram price nowadays is Similar to the ram prices in the 90s - bloody expensive! The fickle finger of fate dealt me a good hand as I built a new pc before the price of ram went haywire. A mate of mine is snookered at the moment, similar to you I guess.

I remember a friend telling me he had a 486dx2 with 16mb ram. This was in 1993 and I remember being amazed at this spec pc & we spent many hours burning midnight oil playing Civ instead of uni work 😂 he upgraded to a pentium and I borrowed his 486 c. 1995. Until I bought a pentium sometime in 96.

I played all the dooms and heratic(doom with magic). Never played Decent but Microprose Mech Warrior series of games I thoroughly enjoyed, it died some what when Microsoft took over the game series. I still got the game boxed up in the loft. System shock 2 was another great game too.

Windows 3.1 brings back fond memories! Played my first "3d" game on this version of windows wolfenstein. At a risk of facing the aire of the masses here, but I often find you local friendly LLM can help enormous with this sort if IT issue. Gemini/Chatgpt have assisted me hugely in home IT projects

It is, but I've only gone as far has hand railing and the odd companion way. You see some ship model builds who have mastererly skill with PE. I find it endlessly amazing the skill folk have in their modelling, they're a constant source of inspiration.

Looks really good but super fiddly. Mind you I've dabbled with ship hand railing on 1:700 ships which is mega fiddly, they do look great when installed. I always have the issue of getting them glued satisfactorily. And ultimately the fiddliness beats me. I wish I had the skill/patients as you

Yeah, I often see folk asking for assistance with Admin, but I know what a tough job it'd be. Perhaps something AI assistance might actually be good for in the future, assuming a Termintor scenario hasn't wiped us off social media!

Resorting to nasty Chemicals usually resolves these kind of blockages I get. Admittedly I'm pretty lazy on the AB hygiene front. But I do find using Tamiya finishing compound on the needle extends my hygiene-laziness a bit. But ultimately it's nasty chems and ultrasonic baths for deep cleans.

Another 55,000 miles and you've made it to the moon! I do chuckle of the subjective phrases: 'excessive' and 'significant' liberally used. However all this unfortunately costs money.

I enjoyed system shock2 on the pc back in 99. It was supposed to be remastered and re-released on console but this has stalled. The game was tough 1st person rpg not to dissimilar to DeusEx. Which was awesome in my rose tinted gaming memory 😄 I do feel your pain though we're gamers of a certain era!

Definitely the smart move, I've a load of spare decals mostly stencils. And out of sight out of mind in my book. I never understand those build with hugely detailed interiors and when closed up nothing is visible. Each to their own I suppose.

Hi, I think what you've done looks fine to me, it's what I do. If sprays does get past, I typically repaint the affect parts with a brush. I use this patch up a lot, even fine over spray say on a wing camouflage demarcation. I few thin washes of the same colour hides it well enough, for me anyway🙂

#histscalemodels #scalemodeling #scalemodels Nationalist decals completed. The decals are weird and tend to curl at the edges, I've glued down the curled areas with gloss varnish. It's time to re-focus on the Republican paint scheme and it's finer mottled type camouflage effect and get it's decals

#histscalemodels #scalemodeling #scalemodels Decalling commencement. These decals are slightly transparent and they tend to curl up at the edges. I think I'll take this process nice and slowly with sol & set application but only a couple of decals per Session. Will seal them before moving on.
