Speedball was obsequious to Hangman when he was pursuing the title but didn't seem to care at all when Hangman dropped him. Then he pivoted to being exactly the same way with Ospreay when he was going for the title so it would make sense if he was trying to cozy up to the champion.

It's not a conspiracy. Wrestling is based on lying to the audience while convincing the audience that everything is true. How would working for AEW have even impacted his marriage when he was constantly refusing to wrestle for AEW so he was always home?

Since it makes little sense that AEW wouldn't even attempt to re-sign then absent some sort of backstage drama it makes no sense that we haven't heard about that backstage drama since we apparently know everything that happens backstage at AEW.
