I always have fun hearing people say my name. Most people pronounce it as Row-Burr-Toe which is close, but no cigar. The proper pronunciation is Ho-Bear-Toh. But this makes me wonder how much I'm butchering other people's names without knowing! Names are fun!

I love the way light interacts with different materials. I mean, that's the basic of painting since it's the basic of seeing. No light, no image. But beyond that, light is so incredible. I'm glad we evolved to enjoy it!
