iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

What’s interesting to me is that this app was approved, at least the iOS version. I had to reject it myself and replace it after removing one feature.

BondCasts app submission interface displays "iOS Submission" with a status of "In Review." The app version is 1.0, submitted on September 13, 2026, at 1:57 PM by Michael Bond. An accompanying screenshot shows an email from App Store Connect to Michael Bond, confirming the app's status change to "In Review." The email sent yesterday at 10:33 AM includes app details: Name "BondCasts," Version "1.0," SKU "com.bondcodes.BondCasts." The email advises changes can be made via "My Apps" in App Store Connect and provides a contact link for inquiries.

Looking pretty dicey as far as releasing today is concerned.

Time for app review at last. Is it normal to feel like you might throw up?

It's weird that J. Jonah Jameson would actually be a blessed relief compared to the bit newspaper publishers now.

And here I was thinking, Sword of Vermilion was the only RPG on Sega Genesis 😅

I'm working on some bug fixes in BondCasts. I know it's been a while, but I was holding out for the new Xcode / os27 updates. Should have something out today!

Still plugging along on BondCasts. So far, I feel pretty good about all of the supported platforms. I think the next thing that I will focus on will be video podcast support. bondcasts.com

Haha, message received 😅

You can sit on a loom, you just might break it. But I’ve been through like three office chairs in five years, so I don’t really see how that’s any different.

Cloud *could* definitely use some support.

Is it just me, or is making a Mac app way harder than making an iPhone / iPad app? 😅

With inspiration from Bart Reardon's "mac-arsed-mac-app" agent skill (github.com/bartreardon/...), I will be doing a lot of work on the BondCasts Mac app.

Preventing some Iranian villagers from getting drinking water does nothing to prevent the IRGC from firing missiles and drones. Water is a red line. I know those of you who hate the US military and US foreign policy won’t care about the difference, but it’s significant, with very bad implications.

1/ BondCasts is a podcast player packed with features. I wanted it to appeal to both lighter users and power users. Some highlights: 🧵

100

This is a very cool and very specific feature idea, and I’m here for it!

000

That’s an idea, but it feels clunky to me to bounce back-and-forth between whatever the agent is doing and other bits that I need to keep an eye on, like pull requests and actual UI debugging sessions. But a matter of just keeping an eye on things or answering a simple question, I could see the use.

000

Right, I understand the basic concept of what it provides. Just can’t think of anything useful to do with it.

300

I feel like an idiot, because I still can’t think of a single thing to use tailscale to actually accomplish.

I’m working on a new project that I’m very excited about. It’s actually something I’ve wanted to do for a very long time, and with the tooling available today, I think it’s time to try. 🤩

We had a little visitor today.

000

Michael Bond @bondcodes.com · 11/06/2026

I've had a bit of a mixed bag with Siri AI, but when it works, it's really cool.

This image displays a screenshot of an iPhone. The iPhone screen shows a Siri interface with a summary of recent Eversource electric bills, including amounts due for July, June, and May of 2026. The background of the iPhone shows the standard iOS home screen with various app icons.
The interface includes raw XML tags visible in the text, such as <coreResponse> and <citation>, suggesting it might be a development or testing view of the Siri interface.

This image is a screenshot of an iPhone displaying a conversation with Siri. The user has asked, "How much is my electric bill," and Siri has responded with the latest Eversource electric bill details, including the amount due (redacted) and the due date of July 7, 2026. Below the answer, there is a summary of recent electric bills for April, May, and June 2026, along with email notifications from Eversource.

Would also be nice if Siri AI could assist in creating this feedback.

100

Michael Bond @bondcodes.com · 09/06/2026

For the record, this bug has existed for at least the last two major OS revisions. I really thought we could beat it with Siri 2.0, but alas. FB23008734

This image shows a screenshot of a chat interface with Siri. The user has typed "In one minute close garage door," and Siri responds with "Automations must be set at least one minute out," along with a button to "Open the Home app." The user then replies, "You surely understand that 'in one minute' means the automation is at least one minute out, yes?" Siri repeats the previous response: "Automations must be set at least one minute out."
