BoiTorchic @boitorchic.bsky.social · 12/06/2026GUYS GUYS GUYS! TODAYS MY BIRTHDAY! WATCH ME BLOWOUT THE CANDLE GUYS! 000 0
BoiTorchic @boitorchic.bsky.social · 08/05/2026Avengers: Infinity War (Rewatch) I still appreciate that this film had the balls to make the Avengers lose and it did an incredible job portraying Thanos as huge, somewhat understandable threat. God Phase 3 really was nonstop banger after banger. 000 0
BoiTorchic @boitorchic.bsky.social · 07/05/2026Black Panther (Rewatch) I think this film still holds up quite well. I’m just not a fan of all the scenes of just chatting while pacing around and the wonky ass cgi during the final fight with T’Challa and Killmonger. But I’d happily call this movie nearly flawless. 100 1
BoiTorchic @boitorchic.bsky.social · 30/04/2026Thor: Ragnarok Hey… this is actually not bad at all. It’s trying to be a lot more wackier and funny and I really love Hulk’s inclusion here. It’s a shame Hela’s quite underwhelming as a villain but I think this film closes out Thor’s trilogy just right. 100 1
BoiTorchic @boitorchic.bsky.social · 26/04/2026Spider-Man: Homecoming Y’all this might be my favorite MCU film ever. It kinda feels like the OG Wimpy Kid movies with its teen comedy vibe while still telling a good Spider-Man story, not to mention it’s very funny but still entertaining. I miss being a high school kid 🥲 100 1
BoiTorchic @boitorchic.bsky.social · 24/04/2026Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2 (Rewatch) I saw this in 2019 and I still think it’s slammin’. It’s got more unique action and emotional moments than the first and I genuinely think this film has the best song selection out of the entire trilogy. Nipples 100 1
BoiTorchic @boitorchic.bsky.social · 22/04/2026Doctor Strange (2016) The films kinda average but the portrayal of Strange’s origin was quite interestingly tragic and the VFX are impressively pushed to the limits. And I love how Dormammu was defeated simply by being outsmarted Overall, this film ain’t really bad at all 100 1
BoiTorchic @boitorchic.bsky.social · 12/04/2026Captain America: Civil War (Rewatch) This was the first ever MCU film I saw in theaters. And I still think it’s damn near perfect. The storytelling, action scenes, darker tone, and of course Spider-Man’s and Black Panthers introduction rounds out Cap’s trilogy as SSStylish! 100 1
BoiTorchic @boitorchic.bsky.social · 02/04/2026The Super Mario Galaxy Movie Mario Galaxy is my favorite game of all time. There does seem to be some pacing issues and I do wish Rosalina and the Galaxy elements had more screen time. But goddammit, im happy to say this movie is still out of this world. Mario RPG reference 100 1
BoiTorchic @boitorchic.bsky.social · 01/04/2026Ant-Man (2015) This is my favorite film of Phase 2. It’s more low stakes, the humor is actually very good, and being more of a heist film helps it stand out. And goodness, that is one scrumpdiddlyumptious looking suit. Luis. 100 1
BoiTorchic @boitorchic.bsky.social · 01/04/2026Avengers: Age of Ultron This films honestly decent. I just wish Ultron wasn’t killed off here since he’s basically just wasted potential as a threatening villain if he can’t come back. 100 1
BoiTorchic @boitorchic.bsky.social · 01/04/2026Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) This movie is honestly so much fun. It helps that this is the first MCU film that actually embraces the wackiness of comic books and it’s all thanks to James Gunn guns heartfelt and creative vision. Finger to the throat. 100 1
BoiTorchic @boitorchic.bsky.social · 01/04/2026Captain America: The Winter Soldier Woah, this one is simply Fantastic. The idea of HYDRA infiltrating SHIELD and Steve having to confront Bucky was such a thriller if I’m being honest. And it’s sort of cute seeing Steve adjust to the modern times for a bit. 100 1
BoiTorchic @boitorchic.bsky.social · 01/04/2026Thor: The Dark World Is it the worst MCU film. Nah it’s just kinda boring and that’s where I’ll leave it. 100 1
BoiTorchic @boitorchic.bsky.social · 01/04/2026Iron Man 3 This one is honestly not too bad. The Iron Legion, the Avengers film leaving an impact on Tony, and him having to utilize the Iron Legion are what makes this film good. Look man, I’m struggling to describe it so this is the best I’ll do. 100 1
BoiTorchic @boitorchic.bsky.social · 28/03/2026Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End (Season 2) I really love how this season is simply just more of what made the first one amazing. The big highlight for me was Stark and Fern finally going on a date since it also gave us some more wacky moments with Frieren. Five more hours. 100 1
BoiTorchic @boitorchic.bsky.social · 27/03/2026The Avengers (2012) I saw some of this at my uncles house in 2016. It honestly feels like a high budget TV show, but it somehow manages to be nearly flawless. I think the build up to this film was done very well. I wanna eat Schwarma 100 1
BoiTorchic @boitorchic.bsky.social · 27/03/2026Captain America: The First Avenger This is my favorite Phase 1 film simply because it’s a period piece set during WW2. There’s just so much charm seeing Cap grow physically and as a leader. And of course him waking up in the future is one MCU’s best moments. 100 1
BoiTorchic @boitorchic.bsky.social · 27/03/2026Thor (2011) I… actually like this movie. Seeing our arrogant hero end up in a small desert town and learning humility before he returns to his old life with newfound appreciation is somehow very enterta- this is literally just Marvels version of Cars. 100 1
BoiTorchic @boitorchic.bsky.social · 27/03/2026Iron Man 2 (Rewatch) I saw this on a bootleg DVD back in like 2012. This is probably my favorite film of his trilogy just for that one scene of Tony and Rhodey fighting and the MK 5 suit up. Too bad Whiplash is sort of a boring villain but hey, I still enjoyed it. 100 1
BoiTorchic @boitorchic.bsky.social · 27/03/2026The Incredible Hulk (2008) I actually saw a good amount of this back in the day and I still think it’s decent film. But good god, the CGI in this film hasn’t aged well. The final act of this film is like watching a greasy, sweaty ass Dark Souls boss fight. 100 1
BoiTorchic @boitorchic.bsky.social · 27/03/2026Iron Man (2008) As the foundation of the entire MCU, this movie is simply a blazing power. Tony’s characterization is the true heart of the film and of course, seeing the Iron Man Armor in action is just an absolute Marvel. Cheeseburgers. 100 1
BoiTorchic @boitorchic.bsky.social · 22/03/2026Resident Evil 3: Nemesis I really like how these games continue to refine some of its formula more. The voice acting is surprisingly decent and theres some neat additions, but god some of these randomized puzzles just suck straight ass. Anyway, I cheesed Nemesis 101 1
BoiTorchic @boitorchic.bsky.social · 19/03/2026JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders (Rewatch) I truly believe this is THE JoJo part of the series. The journey aspect of the plot was always fun since it allowed for more wild and chaotically entertaining scenarios and it has the best cast of main characters. Iggy… 100 1
BoiTorchic @boitorchic.bsky.social · 19/03/2026Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door I was right! This game is simply a work of art when it comes to being an improvement to the first game. We’ve also got a catchy, foot thumping soundtrack and a zany, yet lovable cast of characters (I’m starting to sound stiff) Goombella 🫠 110 1
BoiTorchic @boitorchic.bsky.social · 09/03/2026JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Battle Tendency (Rewatch) 7 years later and this is still my favorite part out of the entire series. I’m just blown away at what an entertaining experience this is. And Joesph Joestar is also one of the most fun anime protagonists period. 110 1
BoiTorchic @boitorchic.bsky.social · 09/03/2026Resident Evil 2 (1998) Wow. This is genuinely a lot better and darker than the first game, even if there’s still a hint of campiness with the dialogue. Then again, Capcom never misses when it comes to a sequel to the first game (Unless it’s DMC2). 100 1
BoiTorchic @boitorchic.bsky.social · 09/03/2026JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Phantom Blood (Rewatch) As someone’s who read the original manga back in 2024, I still think this adaptation is a splendid start to my favorite anime series. The flaws of the story can simply be excused for being Araki’s early work. Loaves of Bread 100 1
BoiTorchic @boitorchic.bsky.social · 28/02/2026Regular Show: The Movie (Rewatch) This one’s still a fun watch after nearly a decade later. Humor, tragedy, and a blast of fun? This movie has it all. 100 1
BoiTorchic @boitorchic.bsky.social · 28/02/2026Regular Show (The Complete Series) This show has been with me since I was 3 or 4 and it’s still one of the most entertaining and impactful things of my life. I’ll gladly say that this is one of my top 3 favorite shows of all time. Jolly Good Show 💙🤎 100 1
BoiTorchic @boitorchic.bsky.social · 17/02/2026Grand Theft Auto V (Replay) I’ve been playing this game since I was like 8 and it’s still some of the most timeless, chaotic fun I’ve ever had, especially with the campaign which I always loved. This is easily one of my top 3 favorite games of all time. 100 1
BoiTorchic @boitorchic.bsky.social · 14/02/2026Resident Evil (1996) What an incredibly cheesy, tank controlled, yet charming start to one of Capcom’s most iconic IPs. The slower paced gameplay with focus on puzzle solving, exploration and being strategic with inventory is just very Stylish! (wait, wrong series) 110 1
BoiTorchic @boitorchic.bsky.social · 28/01/2026Doki Doki Literature Club This game is really something special. From the cast of characters who’ve got their own dark secrets to witnessing everything unfold was a real, horrific treat. And I’m happy to say that I was able to get the best ending. Sayo-Nara 110 1
BoiTorchic @boitorchic.bsky.social · 23/01/2026Paper Mario (Nintendo 64) I actually played this on a shitty mobile emulator back in 2020. Honestly I do like the more Mario-fied gameplay with the unique combat inputs and badge system. I think I’m going to enjoy the rest of this series in the future. Jr. Troopa 110 1
BoiTorchic @boitorchic.bsky.social · 10/01/2026Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End (Season 1) This series has been an incredibly laid back, yet poignant experience with its themes of time and appreciating the small things in life. I also find Frieren herself to be such an oddly fascinating character. Haha I love it 100 1
BoiTorchic @boitorchic.bsky.social · 03/01/2026The Legend of Zelda (NES) The game ain’t really bad at all since the exploration and upgrades make the experience charming. But the way everything is cryptically hidden feels tedious. And that Ganon boss fight is dismal bullshit. BUT I’M FINALLY THE HERO OF HYRULE WOOHOO!! 110 1
BoiTorchic @boitorchic.bsky.social · 01/01/2026This party’s getting crazy, let’s rock! 2026 Entertainment Thread 🧵 130 3
BoiTorchic @boitorchic.bsky.social · 01/01/2026Red Redemption Redemption (Replay) I already beat this back in like 2018. But on this playthrough, I decided to actually watch the cutscenes play out and took the time to appreciate the characterization. Oh yeah and of course the game is a timeless masterpiece. 100 1
BoiTorchic @boitorchic.bsky.social · 01/01/2026Spy X Family (Season 3) I think the biggest highlights for me was the bus hijack arc and the conflicts Loid faced in the sewers with Yuri and Jotaro Ku- I mean Winston Wheeler. The only thing I’ll criticize is the opening them being the weakest one so far. Borf 100 1
BoiTorchic @boitorchic.bsky.social · 01/01/2026Marvel Cosmic Invasion I’m in love with everything about this game. From the vibrant art style and unique cast of characters to the soundtrack from Tee Lopes, it lends itself to one of the most fun beat-em ups I’ve played I’m so happy the Marvel I grew up with is back 120 2
BoiTorchic @boitorchic.bsky.social · 29/12/2025Scooby-Doo & Batman: The Brave and The Bold This is really just a wacky crossover film that simply just happened. But it’s nice to know that this show at least got some form of a continuation, especially when they referenced some specific events. Chomp 100 1
BoiTorchic @boitorchic.bsky.social · 29/12/2025Shantae Advance: Risky Revolution This feels like Pirates Curse but if they kept the animal Transformations. I also love how a couple tracks have some heavy Mega Man ZX influence. Was it worth the 23 year wait? Sure, I think it succeeds at being another good title in the series. 100 1
BoiTorchic @boitorchic.bsky.social · 29/12/2025Batman Beyond: Return of The Joker Ooooooo this movie is Slammin’. The flashback to Bruce’s final confrontation with Joker, some vibrant action scenes, and Terry getting under Joker’s skin by mocking him. All of this = a damn good movie. Poor Tim 100 1
BoiTorchic @boitorchic.bsky.social · 29/12/2025Bendy and the Dark Revival Just like DMC3, this was a massive step up in gameplay compared to the original. Since I did a no-death run on hard, it was a pain in the ass. But the new upgrades, bigger focus on survival and world building were worth it. Development Hell 100 1
BoiTorchic @boitorchic.bsky.social · 29/12/2025Batman: Mask of The Phantasm I think I read a novel adaptation of this back in the day but finally seeing the whole movie was worth it. The romance between Bruce and Andrea was the main highlight since it’s one of the few good Batman romance stories out there. Good shit 100 1
