This is some seriously Kremlin-sounding bullshit right here. We have "political advisors" on Navy vessels and in battalion TOCs now too?

I hiked way into the woods to a beaver impoundment I found on the satellite images from Google Maps with my float tube and a fly rod. On Memorial Day when the million people living in my county are out and about. And I managed to see no humans for the whole day. This is the way.
A placid beaver impoundment on a small creek, looking upstream to a wide meadow. A beaver impoundment. Looking downstream to the beaver dam. A selfie of me in my float tube floating in a beaver impoundment.

You can enrich this whole process. 1) Learn, learn, learn 2) Bike, garden, ski, fish, hunt, read, paint, game, spend time with and enjoy other people (family) 3) Stress less about the ladder, more about having a fun life 4) Die happy. You have to survive, but you can also thrive.

My first solo attempt at a wet on wet oil painting. Need to learn more about paint consistency.
An oil on canvas painting of wintry setting with a stream cutting through the middle. There are 4 big pine trees, 2 on either side of the stream, and an old cabin peaking out from the right side behind the foremost pine tree.

I basically agree with this. In our world, it's a clear choice: you either see all persons as humans or you see them as livestock. In America, we are currently governed by people who see us as livestock.
Screenshot of a reddit post that reads:

I really don’t care if people are here illegally.
I don’t. I tried to see why it’s a problem, but I keep hitting that dead-end where I remember a ton of billionaire parasites, mega corporations, politicians, and a host of others are the ones sucking the wealth out of the country. if illegal immigrants are a drain on our economic and social systems, it’s virtually nothing compared to what the elites and the politicians are doing to us.

And as for the ”illegal,” part? They could have fixed the immigration system at any time to make it easier to emigrate legally. And crossing the border or overstaying a visa is absolutely nothing compared to whatever is in the Epstein files that Trump refuses to release

Again, I really don’t care that people are here illegally.

I see no reason why my skis can't be art, too. Also I might be a Bob Ross fan.
A pair of 16x24 paintings done in Bob Ross' style with oil on canvas depict snowy mountains in the distance below a partially cloudy sky, with a hill of pine between the mountains and an alpine lake, with pine trees bracketing the lake in the foreground, and a bush or twigs poking out here and there. Between the two paintings are two sets of alpine skis. The pair on the left have top sheets with a Bob Ross painting of mountains and Northern Lights. The pair on the right have a top sheet with psychedelic surfy colors of blue, orange, and yellow. The wall these items are hung on is orange peel orange.

I've never laughed so hard at a picture of someone getting punched in the mouth.
Jake Paul getting his lights turned off by Anthony Joshua. Joshua is in the foreground, back to the camera, throwing a right hand punch that is connected to Paul's left cheek. Paul is in the corner against the ropes. Both boxers are sweaty. Paul's eyes are heavy-lidded, his head turned to the left (his right). His lower lip is protuding extensively due to the deformation of his face from the connecting punch. It gives him a derpy expression.

My wife is simply brilliant.

The pumpkin in the background has a large opening with a cutout of the character Jax from Digital Circus. The pumpkin in the foreground has a wide mouth in a smiling shape with two eyes, the right eye (viewers left) is smaller than the left. The mouth and eyes are covered witl crocheted patches, which are sewn into the pumpkin through drilled holes.A carved pumpkin at night sitting on the top step of a concrete front porch, with a black iron railing behind it. You can partially see the front door and sidelight of the house, and in the sidelight window there is a dog looking out. The pumpkin has a wide mouth in a smiling shape with two eyes, the right eye (viewers left) is smaller than the left. The mouth and eyes are covered witl crocheted patches, which are sewn into the pumpkin through drilled holes. The light from within the pumpkin highlights the crocheted pattern, giving the mouth a toothy yet ueven appearance, and the eyes the notion that they are filled with spiderwebs or some kind of hypnotic state.

I used Copilot to help me plan a section of my flower meadow. I hope that doesn't make me a villain. It started with me asking it which ones to plant in the Fall versus the Spring.
A table that lists several flowers with their heights, bloom period, and where to place them in a garden relative to one another based on height and bloom period as decided by M365 Copilot (using the GPT-4 LLM). The table reads:

Flower	Height (inches)	Bloom Time	Placement
Joe Pye Weed	60–72"	Aug–Oct	Back/Center
Blazing Star	24–48"	Jul–Sep	Mid/Back
Purple Coneflower	36–48"	Jun–Sep	Mid/Back
New England Aster	36–48"	Aug–Oct	Mid/Back
Dwarf Red Plains Coreopsis	12–24"	Jun–Aug	Front/Mid

Here's a little 18th century style racism from one of the better regarded "founding fathers." At least the last sentence suggests some self-awareness, which was undoubtedly rare for the time.
A screenshot of a letter from Benjamin Franklin to Jared Eliot dated 12 September, 1751 which reads: "Which leads me to add one remark, that the number of purely white people in the world is proportionably very small. All Africa is black or tawny; Asia chiefly tawny; America (exclusive of the new comers) wholly so. And in Europe, the Spaniards, Italians, French, Russians, and Swedes are generally of what we call a swarthy complexion; as are the Germans also, the Saxons only excepted, who, with the English, make the principal body of white people on the face of the earth. I could wish their numbers were increased. And while we are, as I may call it, scouring our planet, by clearing America of woods, and so making this side of our globe reflect a brighter light to the eyes of inhabitants in Mars or Venus, why should we, in the sight of superior beings, darken its people? Why increase the sons of Africa by planting them in America, where we have so fair an opportunity, by excluding all blacks and tawnys, of increasing the lovely white and red? But perhaps I am partial to the complexion of my country, for such kind of partiality is natural to mankind."

One possible conclusion to our current national nightmare might be a golden crown for the would-be-king who really really loves gold.
In the Game of Thrones universe, a golden crown is prominently featured in the death of Viserys Targaryen, who is killed by Khal Drogo by having molten gold poured over his head. This act is a gruesome fulfillment of Drogo's promise to give Viserys the "golden crown" he craved.

This is the hardest photograph I have seen in a long, long time.
A screenshot of a photo taken by photographer Roman Pillipey from his Instagram account, with the following visible message written by him: "Recently spent a few nights in Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions with Ukrainian mobile air defence units of the 59th brigade and 641st anti-aircraft machine gun battalion, who guard the sky from Russian barrages of drones. While protecting the sleep of many Ukrainians, the air defence teams often get little rest themselves, as one of the soldiers said - just two hours on average, or four on a good night, and perhaps another one between drone..."

The picture is of Ukrainian troops firing an anti-aircraft gun from the back of a t 2½-ton truck. The truck sits in the middle of a blooming sunflower field, and the blast from the firing cannon is the only light source with a dark sky in the background.

It shows the graph running at 4 feet in May with some dips, and then a sharp rise in the past couple of days to 5.66ft. The gray line is last year's flows during the same timeframe, which peak at 3 feet and show al ow around 2 feet in a a repeatable pattern based on when they open the dam on this section of the river. The river was just establishing it's normal pattern before the current rain event.

Google says where two or more are gathered Jesus' website will be present, so if you have six kids maybe you can just stay home anyway.
A screenshot of a Google search with the prompt: "jesus where 2 or more are gathered" with the following AI Overview response that claims Jesus' "website" is present among them. The words on the screenshot say: "The phrase "where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them" comes from Matthew 18:20. It signifies that when Christians gather together in Jesus' name, Jesus' website is present among them. This verse is often interpreted as a promise of God's presence and guidance when believers unite in prayer, fellowship, or other acts of worship."
