Current obsession - Noir movies, Trolls (the regenerating type)

There are people that don't like Sebastian Crowe??? that's crazy he's cool, funny, tragic, confident, no sense of self preservation, needs therapy desperately, would burn down the world for his friends - the perfect man (He's not Vecna, the hand and eye just happened like that) #dnd #drakkenheim

Sebastian Crowe in his Lich era. Part of his face giving way to a skull, his right hand a skeletal/shadowy claw

A little Veo Sjena art Such a fun character, it's so easy to forget how terrifying it must be to try fighting a Gloomstalker I was aiming for a mork borg/old zin kinda vibe and I'm very happy with how she turned out #dnd #drakkenheim

Been running a campaign in the Elsir Vale for 50 something sessions and after almost 2 years we finally reached the Red Hand of Doom adventure portion. Converting it to 5e has been a blast. I'd love to see Designers' Notes back in a future book. #dnd #5e

Had to clear my head so I drew my players' characters as smiling friends

Now that dnd 4e is being looked at more favorably and some games are even using it as inspiration like Draw Steel (and I suspect Cosmere), I need more monster books to adapt encounter groups. Or at least monster tactics

Trying to copy the Mork Borg style was way more fun than I expected. Hope my players will have just as much fun fighting this chimera. Also thank you Dungeon Meshi for reminding me you can mix any and all animals to make a chimera

Don't know if it's a larger trend but I noticed in my #dnd circles, that it's become cool to be the "big bad dm" "If your character dies, don't come crawling to me" "I'm only nice now, so I can hurt you more later😈" "I'm not gonna coddle you like other DMs" Is this a thing in other #ttrpgs ?

I've been holding onto this image for so long but I haven't used it yet coz it feels too mean 😭

I get the weirdest feeling whenever my players overcome an encounter in a way I didn't expect. Because one hand: "Wow! That was such a cool and creative way to overcome that!" But also, by golly, I hate losing, even if it's my role. #ttrpg

Drew this little goober for a token in a DND game I'm running. It's essentially a lump of cancerous growth that a troll tore off of itself. It retains enough life force and brain power to move and attack but not quite enough to speak or regenerate

DnD Take: ALL skeletal monsters should have AT LEAST resistance to piercing damage, if not outright immunity. Stronger ones should have at least resistance to MAGICAL piercing damage, if not outright immunity.

I'm rewatching a bunch of noir movies for a project. Watched Sunset Boulevard for the first time yesterday. Why is it called a "dark comedy" by so many sites and people??? Where is the funny??? A captivating and intriguing watch don't get me wrong. Not funny tho #movies #noir
