It at least showed me that restaurant work isn’t for me. It wasn’t fun being in the kitchen and not knowing what I was doing.

I worked for Bob Evans for about three months or so before being soft let go because I didn’t actually care for the job. It was one of the worst experiences of my life.

Realizing something similar to this made me want to actually get into making art more. It’s the same thing as needing to eat or needing to shit: you just need to do it.

The bottom middle one is a short comic collection that contains “Abstraction”, which is my favorite Shintaro Kago comic.

Did the thing everyone’s doing. Really comes to show how little film I’ve watched or how little manga I’ve read lol

I’ll likely use Prism Launcher on my Steam Deck to play it there, but since the process of porting my world from Switch to PC is dick, I’m just gonna stick to switch until further notice..

I’m on my second house now and found some catacombs and trenches. I’m playing it on the Switch version because I’ve been. Into the idea of making gaming a completely mobile experience for me. It’s had its hiccups so far.

I’ve been getting back into Minecraft recently, and it’s been consuming my free time from work and art. It’s great

One regarding a certain popular video essayist. I don’t wanna go into it. It’s pretty rough

What a impressively terrible week this has been…

Thanks for replying! And to answer your question, no, Lucy isn’t trans. She is, however, someone who’s struggled against gender conformity, given the clothes she wears and her long face. So because of this, kids make fun of her by calling her a boy.

I could not sit through a couple of seconds of it. It’s r/politics if it were a movie

Luckily for me, I have decades of horrors stuck in my head! Hopefully I can churn out a banger at some point soon

I think being 26 meant something different back then.

This is Edie. She’s a laborer on a farm who helps with moving big objects and wrangling animals in. She doesn’t like small talk. #OC #Cartoonist #Procreate #Comix #ComicArt #ProcreateArtist #Webcomics #WebcomicArt #Comics #CartoonArt #farmgirl

Portrait sketch of Edie looking at something begrudgingly.

Full Body Art of Edie standing, barefoot, wearing blue overalls and a grey-green shirt, picking her nose. She’s superimposed over an image of a rural farm.

Genuinely if this movie was walking towards me on the sidewalk, I’d just go ahead and barrel into open traffic. I do not want to be in the same space as this thing nope mm mm

My parents are watching the movie Don’t Look Up. I think this is the first time I was vaguely aware of what was happening in a movie, and I wanted so badly to GET THE FUCK OUTTA THERE

This was basically a cartoon made by someone who hates cartoons and animation

There’s something genuinely existentially depressing about what this image entails

I try my best to not overwork myself when making art and comics, but sometimes I’ll be working on something for over 10 hours and need to stop. I am willing to stop myself when that happens tho.

I’m delaying the new update to tomorrow. One of the pages I’m working on got out of hand. Plus if I were to update today, one of the pages has… something that I don’t wanna leave people on. So yeah. #TheNotSoPleasantLifeOfLucyMurphy
