"How do we reprint Dance of the Dead with all of its modern templated rules text?" You don't. 😂 Gorgeous new art, though.

Ellie and Alan, Paleontologists I'm a big Jurassic Park nerd, but I was concerned this deck might feel repetitive or get stale after doing the thing a few times. I made a concerted effort to mitigate those possibilities and instead it's become my new favorite and likely forever deck.

Gonti made for a very interesting game in an all mono black pod I was in lately. Facetaker is a truly underrated card that does work in my Capt Howler deck. Stubby D saved my bacon by countering an Inkshield. Really underplayed counterspell if your commander has 4+ power.

To me, this is the printing whose art and flavor text both match what I think of when reading the name and playing the card.

I can't wait to cast Flashback to give another Flashback flashback so that I can flashback Flashback to give the original Flashback flashback.

Flashback
{R}
Instant
Target instant or sorcery card in your graveyard gains flashback until end of turn. The flashback cost is equal to its mana cost.

Had the pleasure of meeting @mountainmagesigs.com at @shoebox.gg today, getting a few Commander games in, and getting a year's worth of signed cards back! Thanks, MountainMage, for all you do for the signed card community!

Objective complete! Great to meet and talk to artists at @shoebox.gg today. These all turned out incredibly and the Shoebox pin goes hard.

Magic cards signed by artists Chase Stone, Andrew Mar, and Tyler Walpole. Plus a Shoebox event pin!

This is weirdly the card I am most excited for. A Ravenous Chupacabra of sorts for your +1/+1 (or any other kind of) counter decks.

I absolutely love this card. Could be exciting in something like Winter, Cynical Opportunist. Personally I am looking forward to jamming it in a Kagha, Shadow Archdruid brew.

Some Lorwyn Eclipsed singles arrived from a seller on @cardsphere.com! Twilight Diviner is sick, and both arts are bangers. One of them plus the Elf and Midnight Tilling are probably going to find a home in the Graveyard Cube.

What were your first four commander decks? The first three are easy. A little fuzzy on the fourth, as I think I built UG Ezuri, Noyan Dar, and RG Omnath all around the same time as budget brews.

Yeah, that tracks. CARNAL by Nothing More is a phenomenal album start to finish. However, it seems my early resolution for 2026 should be to get those minutes up!

No new commanders but some exciting cards for the 99s. Obsessive Pursuit is such a sick take on Phyrexian Arena for sacrifice decks. Waterbender Ascension is no surprise, but this card in Captain Howler seems extra spicy since it can commit crimes making any creature unblockable at any time.
