It doesn't matter if it's doomed, the President of the United States is committing crimes that include murder, abduction, and war crimes. Congress is obligated to stop him by both the Constitution and their oath of office. A political liability is having both parties of Congress engaged in treason.

How much proof do they have? Fox News isn't reporting on his war crimes or incessant other crimes. They don't repeat any of his comments that can't be dismissed as overreactions. Even if they find him distasteful, he's the incumbent protecting us all from socialism so better Vote Red No Matter Who.

I think it's been very successful, because they're doing psychology, not politics. They repeat words like "socialism" or "woke" over and over without a strict definition, so simply hearing it will trigger a response for their base to oppose it. Like how normal people react to "rape" or "murder".

Even as the minority party, they can say the President is a criminal and should be removed from office. They can say the same of any Cabinet member. They could force votes on impeachment. They could shut down the Senate with delays and endless nitpicking. Not one will do this regularly.

Ask any Senator in Congress regardless of party for a statement on Susan Collins' extensive financial crimes. Clears up real quick who's working for the public and who only cares about their cronyism.
