On your local library sale shelf next to John LeCarre's SMILEY'S PEOPLE BAND TOGETHER.
A very old, beat up, torn, yellowed copy of the mass market paperback edition of LeCarre's espionage novel SMILEY'S PEOPLE, the pages of which are held together with two rubber bands.

Preparing to unfurl the Milwaukee #Brewers flag on a snowy January day in tribute to baseball lifer Bob Uecker. RIP
A blue and gold Milwaukee Brewers logo flag is draped over the back of a living room easy chair with a leaning flagstick. The inside of the house's front door is seen in the background.

I call this one "Moon Over Milwaukee."
The full moon appears as a very small, bright disk in the black night sky over a brightly lit major league baseball stadium. The large scoreboard shows a live shot of Brewers pitcher Devin Williams next to a summary of his stats.

Frozen custard sign taking a break after many years up on the pole.
The iconic Gilles Frozen Custard sign, showing two smiling anthropomorphized ice cream cones playing, is leaning on its side against the HVAC unit in a back corner of the brick and blue & grey paneled building.

40 years since William Gibson wrote Neuromancer and I'm reading it for the first time. Trying to place it in my personal tech timeline; around then I wrote reports by hand and sent them to the Word Processing Dept. Gibson's world was a bit more advanced.
