maybe I'm overreacting but the kinktober list is proof that this is something people read which just makes it even more irritating that it's hard to actually find fics that are accurately tagged with it, and any tag that could narrow it down is wrangled in with the "kinda almost adjacent" tags.

is some of this AO3's fault for how they wrangle tags? Perhaps, I think this could be handled better internally but its a relatively niche tag for its level of taboo, which is why it's a tag and not an archive warning. which means the onus is on the end user to make sure you tag your shit correctly.

There are official tags for the things you want. "Werewolf sex", "alien sex", "monsterfucking", there's probably even fandom specific tags for whatever you're writing. Transformers has Beast Mode Sex for example since some of our guys turn into robot animals.
