Not the first time Apple limited features to newer iPhones iPhone 2G and iPhone 3G got iPhone OS 3 (before renamed to iOS) didn't get the option to show the battery percentage in status bar, only exclusive to the iPhone 3GS Until iPod Touch 7th gen, there's no option to show the battery percentage

In Settings app, the Battery percentage option is shown on iPhone 3GS.

Unironically, iOS allows you to uninstall most of built-in apps such as Calculator, Clock, Files, Apple Maps, Tips, Watch, FaceTime, Stocks, Apple Music, Mail, and even the App Store itself (in the EU region) than most what Android OEMs would allow you to uninstall built-in apps.

Windows 11 LTSC 2024 (based on Windows 11 Version 24H2) is eligible for the upcoming Windows 11 Version 26H2 enablement update via Windows Insider Release Preview channel! And it actually installs fine without any issues!

Windows 11 version 26H2 is shown as pending restart in Windows Update in Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC, based on Windows 11 version 24H2. Before restarting to apply the update, the About Windows dialog reports as version 24H2.

After installing Windows 11 version 26H2 update in Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC, the About Windows dialog now reports as version 26H2.

Windows 95 released on August 24th 1995 then Windows XP released on August 24th 2001, six years apart, too bad it's not possible to upgrade from Windows 95 to Windows XP. 🥀 Maybe someone could make an workaround for this, similar to upgrading from Windows NT 3.51 to Windows XP.

Although the 3D Pinball Space Cadet game isn't included in Windows Vista, its legacy indirectly lives on as its icon from Windows XP is reused for the ball sprites in the InkBall game.

Honestly surprised the Solarium (Liquid Glass UI) feature flag that was originally introduced since macOS 26 Tahoe, still works in macOS 27 Golden Gate Beta 5 at this point! In comparison, the Glade feature flag (Big Sur UI) became entirely non-functional by macOS Big Sur Beta 5

It's been one year since the "Clippy movement" started. Big Tech is so scared of them! Honestly, that later trend over a number had more impact than that movement. And if Clippy were still around, didn't get phased out in the 2000s, he'll be exactly be like what Copilot is today.

Windows 8 was basically nearly identical as Windows 7, there were some minor changes but wasn't changed as much from Windows 7 as said. And best thing about Windows 10/11's updating system is the important updates are now part of a single cumulative update package, makes it much easier for IT admins

UTM's new 3D acceleration x64 graphics driver "works" in Windows 10 LTSC 2021 x64 UTM VM, but it's more unstable than the ARM64 driver tested in Windows 11 Version 21H2. You need the sanity to suffer through the flickering every few seconds and just hope it doesn't randomly BSOD.

11 years ago, Windows 10 version 1507, the first version of Windows 10 released to the public! Surprisingly, it still has somewhat decent app support to this day compared to its predecessor, Windows 8.1! Latest Firefox, Chrome, Discord, Steam working in Windows 10 version 1507!
