I walked this puppy for a friend. He is amazing. Fostering would be a huge dedication.

Oh my thanks for that photo! I am almost chuckling at the impressive look of that fellow, I am looking after my younger daughter’s new puppy and he looks like a fluffy toy by comparison

Is this a play on the unstated word "buns" or something more subtle? I just baked a loaf to give to my GP

In the interest of smiles:- During a recent trip I wore old strides with 1/2 belts and no belt. At security when I lifted arms the 1/2 belt broke sending pants south! Eventually after much torment I used a leather strap from a baggage tag to pull 2 belt loops together

In the USA does "taking the pith" have the same resonance as it does in the UK?

I am guessing that this is a repeat of a much loved post, but I saw it for the first time moments ago and would like to know who created it!

My Mum would not tolerate the writing of addresses using black pen because the war office telegrams informing families of lost loved ones were written in black ink. Prevention is better than cure. This was during the lifetimes of some among us.

I found this person following me. I contacted The Real Michael Stern and though the account seems to have vanished he suggested I post this screenshot. Be wary.

My old dog just days before he died nearly a year ago.

I enjoyed the thoughts this evoked. I used to like getting puzzles, wire puzzles etc, but my favourite was a puzzle of that nature that my granddad made by hand around 1930. My cousin gave it to me.

Just to lighten the mood a friend sent this to be shared. It reminds mec of a decades old talk by Gerard Hoffnung.
