Interestingly, our brains have several different major neurotransmitters and dozens of minor such chemicals. AFAIK, no artificial neural net has anything analogous. Borain connections are continually being added, deleted, and modified with the process of living. That's too expensive for LLMs now.

An adult human brain has perhaps a quadrillion dendrites (neural connections). A huge LLM at this time has perhaps 3 trillion. So LLMs don't seem to be "there" yet. Flip side: much of our brains are devoted to physiology and other body functions (muscle control). LLMs don't have such functions.
