A bit of good news. Delaware’s governor just signed a law ensuring voter rights protections. Delaware becomes the second state to ban voter suppression, dilution, and discrimination. It was bipartisan in the state Senate. Hope more states will follow.

Other voting victories: * restoring the rights of convicted felons (with the exception of violent felonies) once they’ve served their sentences. * banning corporations, LLCs, etc. from voting. Yes, it was actually a thing in Delaware because state law was ambiguous and some tried to exploit it.

Not sure I 💯% agree. I understand the complete frustration, especially in southern states. But for many poor athletes, a scholarship is THE only way to escape poverty. It shouldn’t be their responsibility to shoulder this burden and risk their futures. It’s up to ALL of us to force change.

Devastated about the SCOTUS decision in Louisiana v. Callais. We know 6 of them are corrupt, their decisions are anti-American, and the shadow docket doesn’t pretend to explain questionable decisions. But I seriously don’t know how we fight back. Very worried about the birthright citizenship case.
