This is how I celebrate Opening Day. Every year I send Cardinals Flowers to my wife’s at her school. I only send flowers on Opening Day. Valentine’s Day is a fake holiday. 😂😂😂 Opening day is Christmas for Baseball fans.

Old school trade at the local card shop tonight. I had 2 extra high numbers 700’s. We traded straight up. Happy to add to more high numbers to the 1971 Topps set the old way. #CardSKy

Picked up some Fleer packs this weekend. 202 packs for $40. I’m going to give these away at our Opening Day along with new Topps. Cooper had a blast at the show this weekend. Kids love to open the cards we’ve given them the last couple of years. I’m the card guy for our league. #Cardsky

Years ago it was so much easier. Congrats on the McGwire.

Bobby @bobbystl.bsky.social · 10/03/2025

Congratulations on finishing your set. My local card shop has a 5,000 count box of 71’s that I’ve been going through recently. As soon as I get some of the lower numbers and commons complete I will send a list your way. Thank you.

Bobby @bobbystl.bsky.social · 09/03/2025

Added five 1971 Topps today from the local card shop for $5. Trying to finish off the low numbers first. #Cardsky

Did you say Wood grain. I recently picked this box up from a friend.

The Larkin rookie is an amazing rookie card. Along with Bo Jackson. It was such a cool set. The blue color was a first .

I can still remember opening those packs in 1987. Even then I was interested in completing the set. I have to find a box someday. Did you open the entire box?

Cool spring training return today. Cooper sent this card in late February. Still waiting on a Cardinal return. They have been terrible the last couple of years. He was excited to receive a 2025 Rookie back today. #Cardsky

Dock Ellis came in the mail today for the 1971 Topps set. Trying to finish off 1-100 this month. #CardSky

Congratulations Loved that set when it came out 1987. I got yelled at by the lady running the local candy store . I bought all the packs and the box. Her husband came and told me it was ok. I had a paper route and I splurged and wanted the entire box. She was upset the other kids didn’t get packs.

Congratulations My LCS has the last 7 cards for our set. I’m going to pick them up on Thursday. Traded with 3 other friends so the 138 I was missing was down to 7 for the LCS.

The Top Loaders are super glued to an art canvas. The Top loaders have not moved since my wife helped with this crazy idea in 2013. Cards are easily added each year. Cards past the 1958 Stan Musial are holding a spot for future cards. Can hold Topps Cardinals cards till 2071.

It was a Twins day for the 1971 Topps set today. 424/752 only 328 to finish the set. 🤣🤣 #CardSky

I had to purchase the Munson. It was a great price.

🤣🤣 I told Cooper he has to get a really good job. Always holding out hope of finding one in the wild someday somehow. You never know. I have 6 years till graduation. I’d really like to give him a Jackie on graduation day. He has said he’d rather a Jackie than a Mantle if he ever had the choice.

210

High numbers now. He has about 20. Always fun to add a new card for report cards and big events. It has slowed down now with the prices of the high numbers. Added 2 for Christmas.

110

Cooper still has your Monte from the other site. Just an amazing card.

100

Still remember buying the packs in 1983. Loved when the new cards came out and the excitement to see what the new year looked like. Congratulations on completing the set.

You got to love the USPS. I bought a 1971 lot 131 cards. Shipped from Massachusetts to Pennsylvania via San Francisco. Was supposed to arrive today. 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣 How??????

Working on a 1971 Topps set. The Clemente and Pinson are some of my favorite 71’s so far from the 70’s. So many classic cards.
