ok so just straw manning a narrative is your point? thats so lame. hes obviously been very productive in his 1st 3 seasons, but very few have ranked him in the elite tier. going into the season he was a top 7-12 QB in the league depending on who you listen to, which is no where near the elites.

yeah i mean the game script didnt help the total rush yards. they were down most of this game. but when your line is this bad and the QB is forced into a pass heavy game, its bound to be very very ugly.

love ate up the blitz last year, but that was because the line was average to slightly below avg last year. the falcons only blitzed 18 percent of the time and still got the 2nd most QUICK pressures in a single game all season (15)...17 is the fastest, which was the vikings week 1....

using season long team standings when talking about a QBs performances feels disingenuous considering theres 22 players on a field at a time. and yes, Love has not handled the pressure well, but when the pressure rate youre seeing is the fastest in the league, that needs to be accounted for

there nuance and layers to this, and pulling a 3 game sample to say "see, ive always said hes not that good" is terrible analysis tbh. he's top 5 in epa per play since he became a starter and was highly rated in PFF charting last year (which accounts for responsible QB'ing).

jordan love is 2nd in time to throw while facing a top 5 pressure rate in the nfl with the 2nd fastest time to pressure in the league. meanwhile, his sack rate is right around the league average (13th after last night). no one has championed him as an ELITE qb, but spare with this "child" nonsense.
