Generated my own starter pack of lab automation folks who are engineers, scientists founders, or researchers in the space or adjacent to it. Lab Auto will vary from lab to lab and project to project. Diversity of ideas and skill sets are required, lmk if you want to be included. go.bsky.app/RwgzPtL

I am here to see if Lab Automation Bluesky is a thing, so here we go… Benchling released their 2024 “State of Tech in Biopharma” report last week (great report, would recommend). One of the takeaways I noticed immediately was the decline in sentiment towards lab automation from 2023.

We just ordered our first plasmid! With experiment automation and ‘self-driving labs’ it is mind-blowing that even (simple) #compchem folks like us can do sophisticated experiments! CMU Cloud Lab SDL ☁️ picture for attention grabs 😎 #chemsky

#LabAutomation community, any thoughts on the recent @benchling tech report? My biggest takeaway was the significant drop in investment sentiment from 2023 to 2024. Thoughts on why this is?
