Some of us have known how to use em dashes—and en dashes!—well before AI. Hell, some text editors do it automatically if you hit hyphen twice. On a Mac it's Shift-Option-Hyphen It's not the tell people think it is. Horrible AI voice in the writing on the other hand…

My god, so many names here are giving me age based emotional damage, from VA Linux to Lucent Orincoco. (Spent a ton of time on Slashdot around that era - in fact some of my first large, successful software projects were heavily influenced by their commenting and moderation system)

Oh yeah, if those kinds of games make you motion sick I think Outer Wilds sometimes doubly so with all the space flying, weird gravity, etc. Sometimes it's a lot even when you're not prone to motion sickness! Also now I need to look up 3 in Three!

Oh yes - that game so good. I have a hundred or so hours into it and a notebook full of hunches and puzzles. Getting the itch to play it some more lately and go after a couple of the trickier ones. The Secret Life of Games podcast just interviewed the creator and it's brought the crave back
