I don’t think that would be effective. I have image of pigs at the trough. I do, however think a more measured approach, like a higher tax rate coupled with legislative discipline on balanced budget could turn the corner on the financial crisis we are creating for future generations.

I believe most hospitals know their costs. It is required for effective negotiation with payers. The challenge tends to be forecasting demand by service. On price transparency, ACA (dems) started process but it really was only the start. Definitely needs refinement both in what and how to report.

I think at this point I am more anti-republican than pro-democrat. Feel a bit like a political orphan. Seems like there is opportunity to push MAGA as an extreme, independent party and for the Republican Party to rebrand away from MAGA but I don’t see the leadership or courage to make that happen.
