My cat ("Dairy") requires the 'sacrifice' of a recently worn article of clothing as the cushion covering, one that smells like me (or my daughters). Otherwise, it is not to be lain on. T-shirts work. Fuzzies (patagonias) are best. Best of all is the pillow cusion cover before going in the laundry.
