Baltimore Cripple Punks Interview
By: Sylo Bartolomeo and Siobhán Crawley Introduction: Baltimore Cripple Punks is a group that is bringing the needs of the disabled community to the front of the Baltimore punk scene. It would have taken me all day to speak to each table that was set up. Instead I reached out to three of the most prominent groups in Baltimore to see what they're all about.

Fort Armistead Punk Show Shutdown by Police
Introduction: By: Sylo Bartolomeo Sitting tucked away in south Baltimore's Curtis Bay neighbor is Fort Armistead. The fort which is now over 100 years old served as a port defense fortification from 1901-1920. Since then it has become a living art museum, or what's left of it. Plants, vines and layers of graffiti cover what remains of the old structure. The lower portions consist of dark damp tunnels fit to be explored only by the bravest of park goers.

Show Report 3/9/26
Author: Sylo Bartolomeo Edited by: Siobhán Crawley The punk scene has always been present in Baltimore, it feels intertwined in a way that other places strive to replicate. Throughout the years lots of venues have popped up and solidified themselves as punk venues: The Ottobar, The Windup Space, The Raven Inn... the list goes on forever. Whether it's bar or house venue, punk bands have had a space to play.

An Introduction
It's no secret that Baltimore has more than its fair share of local media groups and corporations, most of which do great work at highlighting a number of issues that Baltimore faces. Sometimes budgets and bureaucracy get in the way of reporting on things that affect everyone or they choose not to report on something simply because it is seen as a micro issue.
