Yeah I meant tooling + models but less weight (😏) on the models and more on better tooling. As for memory, sure it's capable of a lot, just went through a big refactor, successfully. But it still needs to re-read a ton during these sessions and I sometimes have to remind it as well.

I think the problem with that is our tendency to anthropomorphize the model. It acts human-like enough, but it's really a big vector machine you're trying to align with your problem. Then again, on occasion, I've found myself doing the equivalent of slapping the TV to make it behave again 🤡

They do lack proper memory though. And I get it, it consumes enormous amounts of it. I wonder if going forward, models taking a back seat to better tooling, will improve things. Junie has access to the entire semantic index of the project, it homes in on code fast without having to grep for example.
