Tim Curry is a true Legend. I was working for Student Affairs at UCLA and they coordinated celebrities coming to speak to the students. Legend had just come out and I was blown away by his Lord of Darkness character -- both his portrayal and the prosthetic makeup. 1/2

Thanks to Bill Anderson @billandersoncomics.bsky.social for asking me to be a part of his Oracle Works anthology comic! I got to finish a story I started almost 2 decades ago. Visit the Kickstarter page in Bill's post!

What if Bruce Lee didn't die? What if he was in stasis, escaped, had no memory of who is, and needed help from friends old and new, and it was written by Shannon Lee and Jeff Kline? #darbypop #BruceLeeTheDragonRises #BruceLee #JeffKline, #ShannonLee, @nicoledubuc.bsky.social, @bmckinney.bsky.social

I was going to treat this like my old Twitter account and just observe for politics and comic art, but I think I'll invest a little more. Here's some recent commissions! #art #commissions #batman #transformers #elfquest #poisonivy

Artwork showing the Elfquest character Rain mourning the passing of the character Shale

A pen and marker sketch of Batman from the animated series

Sketchcover artwork featuring the Transformer called Wheeljack

Artwork of Poison Ivy from the Harley Quinn animated series done in the style of the artist Tim Sale

The world is on fire. All I feel like I can do is contribute some art for folks to enjoy. Here's Batman Beyond surrounded by the Royal Flush Gang

Some commissions I got to do at Fan Expo last weekend. I always enjoy the challenge of drawing in a tough environment (crowd noise, uncomfortable chairs, etc) but I'm happy with how these came out! Message or email me @ BLMcKinney@gmail.com if interested and I'll send you a price list 👍

My first post on BlueSky! I'm going to show some artwork and follow some other great artists and thinkers while we venture through the next 4 turbulent years...
